(CNY) Sunshine Central | An elevator tour!
Happy CNY!
This is the elevator tour at Sunshine Central Mall (and I am probably the last elevator enthu to upload the videos of the elevator in that mall)
The shopping was opened in late 2023, with a ton of generic elevators, GMDEO. The shopping centre has 5 scenic elevators, 2 non-scenic elevators, and one service elevator with different COP and HOP buttons.
During the time of filming, the floor above 6 was still locked (except the service one, with floor 6 still available)

This is the brand new Fujitec Rexia MRL elevator at D Garden commercial central in Batu Pahat. There are two elevators in each block of shop houses which serve every story of the building, including the rooftop park. This is one of the only elevators I filmed at the campus. These elevators are MRLs and has a segmented indicator quite unusual, clicky KB-8 buttons that are rarely used in TOSHIBA elevators in Malaysia. Here we got an elevator at Penang Hill Upper station, which was reopened recently after years of defunct. I still remember I took this elevator when I was 7. This is the second Mitsubishi AC-E4LP elevator I ever filmed. Like the previous one, the elevator uses 7-segmented indicator which only can display 0-8 and lack of door close button. 4:30 Just my own guessing, these elevator were originally 1986 CV40, and were replaced in 2016.

Maybe later I'll do a video mixing up the clip of the hotel elevators, mall elevators and the link bridge elevator. So this video will become private as long as the video about the mix of the elevators stated above published
The hotel elevators are modernized by KONE instead. You can see a glimpse of the original ones at Police Story 3 (1992).

1:25 These office elevators (the one without turnstiles) are really double deck ones. I presume they are shuttle elevators and is said to serve the sky lobby at floors 56 and 57 of the building. I think these floors requires keycard access, that's why they serve only floors G, UG and L.
Ah... 3A flor on coswei tower... PROBABLY THE BUILDER IS CHINESE...
Number that ends with *4* is considered as unlucky for some Chinese-built buildings in Malaysia. Instead, the management decided to replace the *4* with *3A.*
