Everything is a how to/self help/advice video from someone who's been rich on youtube since 15 and doesn't understand your situation. I just want to relate to people with these videos. I hope that you found what you were searching for (angled brackets aren't allowed in youtube descriptions lmao. So just pretend th...

Never give up on ur dreams just incorporate them in your life differently ❤
Girl ur thumb nail photos had me done 😂 especially that last pose you did lol
You're just as beautiful as i remember. I love your videos. You never try to act like someone else. Just yourself. I respect that
Kaygee,superb ~ farewell~ :)
Besides Etsy, where else can we see more of your work? Your instagram link is no longer available. I binged several of your videos and curious to see what you made with Motion Design (C4D). Have you ever considered relocating? LA is tough. Everywhere is tough but LA. Wow! Remote work is often the goal but not often the start. Take heart...it was difficult for the millennials, gen-x'ers, and boomers too starting out. Every group has some economic adversity to overcome and many were passed over in their youth. In these challenging times you have to be a unicorn and juggle different complementary skillsets. Make some crafts to promote your work. Just like in relationships, if fish are not biting in the pond you are at go cast your reel elsewhere where they are. I wish you success.
Love this ❤😂had me going with the housing stuff
First viewer ^.^ Just some encouragement, I Love watching your videos!! :)
Thank you! Can I ask what you like about them?
The same thing that someone else said in the comments the TH-cam algorithm had your video in my feed too. I am new here. Remember to show yourself grace. Don't be too hard on yourself. I like raw content and you mentioned alot of things. Just sending some more positivity and encouragement. 1) You are a beautiful lady with gorgeous natural hair as well. 2) People are watching your videos. 3) Don't give up. Keep going lovely 😁💌❤️
Raw content 👍🏾. Keep going!
HEAVY on the "I dont like editing" part. I'm also discovering this about myself, its not fun lol
It's your job 💀 oh no
It was chile I got laid off lmfao@@KayGee_yt
The YT algorithm brought me here so you never know what video will take off. I actually prefer watching regular people going about their normal lives videos. Congratulations on your new job. It doesn’t have to be your forever job and you can keep doing creative projects even if you are not getting paid on your own time. Maybe try not to think so much and see what opportunities present themselves. Anyway good luck to you.
dont restart, hardest thing on youtube is getting to the 1k mark. u need to make sure ur using other social medias to funnel into this one. i think you are entertaining. even a video like this where you arent editing it, i like it. i just think you need to get creative with trying to reach you audience thats all.
so if it makes u feel any better you have a new follower today.
@@someonewholongstocreate well thank you 😌❤️
young lady, left your head up and do you constructively. what is actually beautiful isn't taught!
Your so amazing how you did all those things with Chipolte!! That's so cool!!
I really want to start sewing but idk where to start. I already know crocheting and knitting
Sorry for all the comments, but what kind of camera do you use? I am looking to start using a digital camera for TH-cam and not just my phone. Anything under $200. Also...you're already doing good! If you want to keep going you're on the right track
Thank you for the comments! Nice to know someone is listening lol. If you're looking for under $200 id recommend looking on FB marketplace and looking for refurbished cameras on Amazon. From what I collect, generally anything Sony is good. I use [will insert here later] and it kinda sucks in low light...or regular honestly. But if you film outside or have good natural lighting at home it'll be perfect! Otherwise...maybe buy an iPhone 12 or something and use it just for the camera 😂
Hi! I forgot to come back to this, sorry, but I use the canon sx740 hs
@@KayGee_yt Thanks so much
Well you're an inspiration to me as a fellow 20s Black girl trying to adult. I understand feeling frustrated with content creation and possible shadowbanning
I don't like editing videos either. So much work. Your hair looks healthy and amazing, and you look great. Don't worry bout how you look because as a viewer I think you are presentable and upbeat. I think it makes you relatable. You can always choose to look how you want. I understand about the unsurety/confusion in your 20s. I'm there too. I will support you ::) Great job with the video.
update on job search? found something new?
Yes, I did get something new! I'm hoping to film an update video soon, I just incidentally have less free time now 😅
Can i buy you a ticket to come bsck to Georgia and visit? First class?
Don’t let that get you down. Things like that happen all the time in the industry. Network and try getting signed up through an agency. You got this. ❤
wow it’s amazing to see other girls my age go travel, i can’t wait to join in
Definitely head out! Just pick a place and a time and make it happen 😄 you'll have a great time
Ik its been rough. But life will go on. Your Spanish accent needs a little work. Great video
Thank you for sharing all this!! I would love to open a pop up shop at Orange mall too. How did you apply for the pop up space? Did you contact to the mall directly?
Look up SoCal Etsy Guild (I think that's what it's called). You can sign up for shows at various malls through them!
Hey. Keep your head up Angelface. Ik we haven't talked in awhile but ik you. You are strong and very driven. You're intelligent and you've achieved a lot in your life already. I love you and wish you the best.
Stumbling across your video and sending prayers that you will find your dream job ❤️ You are resilient and capable! Trust in His plan for you!
I appreciate it ❤️
Hey I checked your channel for an update on your journey. Glad you uploaded this video. Please don’t be discouraged, don’t let this chip away at your confidence, please believe you will get to the other side of this. I know easier said than done but please do your best. I’m rooting for you I really resonate with your authenticity and transparency to share your journey. This too shall pass.
Thanks Tay! ❤️
if masters will be a waste, why then do you want to do it? 2 years to buy time, you might as well use that 2 years to not do anything, school can be stressful too, you gotta do assignments and do exams etc AND then rack up more student loan debt??? Finding a job should not be something you give up on after like a few weeks of trying, Ask yourself if you keep applying for next 6 months, will you find a job? if answer is yes, then just keep applying. Also have you considered moving away from your current city to a less expensive city? Just keep working on your skills and picking up new skills, you dont need another degree for that, youtube, udemy and many free sites will do that for you. And just keep confident in yourself and keep applying. No matter what economy is, more than 50% of people will be employed, and ask yourself are you better than average? i think yes. Good luck
WALFART LOT CLEANER CART GOFORER CASHIER// BURGER KING CASHIER FOOD PREP LOTS OF JOBS///
I got let go at the beginning of February. It was cleverly timed to coincide with some other unrelated layoffs, but had nothing to do with market. I signed an NDA so I can't go into details unfortunately, but was the culmination of a long period of workplace bullying / harassment which did not get addressed appropriately. It took everything I had not to lash out at my former employer and my former coworkers. I took two months off to travel and focus solely on enjoying my days and my life and to purge the experience completely from my consciousness before taking another position. I wanted to be sure I went back to work with a clean and positive mindset, and I think I have.
Also, just know the market is affecting things, you also need to consider your field. Don’t quit on yourself…many of the “ successful “ have taken many”NO”s in life.
It’s because of the picture that schools paint for you which really are in line with reality. Keep your head up and stay positive…something has to turn up.
My life rn honestly
Hey - I’m a relatively new subscriber. Your career related videos have really resonated with me. I work as an accountant - lol. I am here for all the accountant shade love the dry sarcastic humour as my humour is very similar. And often times people like to tell me to be more optimistic or call it negative. But one thing I try to do is allow people to feel what they feel. In todays society everyone wants to act or portray everything like it’s a bed of roses even when it’s not. I’ve worked for four different companies in the last 3 years -most of them because of layoffs. I lost my job right before the pandemic and everything career wise has been spiralling since. Post uni I’ve taken contract roles, settled for junior roles I’m over qualified for and been used to complete the tasks of those that make way more than I do. I have never felt settled, never been apart of a team I felt connected with, never had a manger who showed interest in my career. I now have a job now but no real job security the economy and job market is weird and I know I can be let go at any given moment. I think regardless of your path traditional or not these are the woes of life it’s just hard all around. And realistically most people got to where they are based on who they knew or right place right time it isn’t because they are more deserving or amazing. Their degree isn’t anymore special than yours and they probably didn’t apply traditionally. They will never admit that though. No one talks about their journey they just show the end product -job titles, houses, cars. You are doing what a lot of people could never do - being transparent, honest and not trying to make something look like something it’s not. I think the main difference I see in comparison to myself is you’re looking for fulfillment/ passion from your work and unfortunately you may not get that. You might have to separate the two. I mainly see self employed people acquire this and that path has its own set of issues. I’m extremely frustrated with life doing all the right things - so they tell you get a good job. And still not being where I want to be. I want my own place so bad and I can’t afford it because of the cost of living. I don’t want roommates, I don’t want to rent a room or have to live pay cheque to pay cheque. I want my very own space this is a basic want in life. I ask my parents all the time why did you bring me here to suffer I don’t want to hustle, wake up at 5am, run several businesses , work a 9-5 so I can beat capitalism and have basic things in life. The world really is an awful place. I hear you girl and I truly wish you well! ✨
Thanks for commenting! I'm sorry to hear that 😔 honestly with the pandemic, it's blow back, and now bank closings I guess even accountants have it rough! The cost of living is definitely way too high for the salaries they offer the majority of young people and if it was for my four (4!) Roommates I would definitely still be living at home. Just know you're not alone in this and I wish you the best in your journey!
I can hear your frustration and I want to give you a hug through the screen. As someone who doesn't come from money, myself either, your going have to do some things you don't want to do professionally. For years probably. I personally have never used my Bachelors degree eventhough I applied to so many positions but nothing. So I pivoted to whatever and whoever would hire me because I had bills. I worked for a temp agency that thankfully kept me employed. And then after awhile I realized that I wanted to see the world as well so I went overseas to teach which took my life on a whole nother journey. But my point is, keep applying perhaps to 1,000 jobs you have to keep putting resumes out there. Try FIVER for freelance work. Also the negative self talk is kind of like a self fulfilling prophecy. If you don't think it will happen, it won't! Try meditating to clear your mind and focus. And also therapy can help but I do know therapy is a privilege, so whenever you get benefits look into talking to a professional who has more tools to help... oh and also, I'm a bit older than you and realized that my job is not supposed to fulfill all of my happiness. Its supposed to pay my bills and I find 1 or 2 things I enjoy about it during the day but I pursue my passions outside of work. And it has been pleasantly surprising to stop trying to find fulfillment in a job and see it as what it is. A means to an end.
Thanks for the words of wisdom Chrystle 😊. I'm sure things will work out for me in the end, just the middle is a bit confusing as I go 😅. But I'll certainly keep your words in mind
You draw so well! I wish I could draw realistically like you. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! Love your videos -- you are hilarious! Just letting you know... I think the video speeds up at around 06:00. I don't know if it's just me but i hit rewind several times and it did not change.
Thank you Victoria! Yes, you're right, it is sped up. I felt I was rambling a little so I made it pass a bit faster. I hope it wasn't too distracting 🙏🏾
A very well-thought and balanced response to the situation. Even knowing what you don’t know is a huge first step in figuring out what you wanna do next. Kudos!!
Just came across your channel, congrats on the job offer! I feel you about the dissolution of working at companies after getting laid off myself. For the tax bill you can go on a payment plan with the IRS to pay over a couple months. Also watch out for taxes on unemployment! And also definitely can call the unemployment office to put your payments on hold in case jobs fall through. And I think it's smart that you're not putting your eggs in one basket with this new job as well as even with big companies they have their own constraints.
Thank you! I'll be putting my payments on hold - that's a great idea!
@@KayGee_yt After you got laid off did you tell your new job that you were laid off since sometimes companies will see that as a red flag if you got laid off then they think that maybe you were underperforming or it was your fault even if that's not true. Sometimes it may be better to just tell them that you are still employed at your last job since it looks better to them if you are still employed but looking for a better opportunity. Sometimes you get further ahead by lying about it since being honest can not get you hired since most companies rarely check with your current or past employers and don't actually check your references most often especially for a lower paying job that has a high turnover rate. I'm just looking for an average basic job that pays $12 to $14 an hour not a job making $50,000.00 a year or more. Thanks for any help you can provide.
It's encouraging to see you doing fairly well considering the layoff and it being winter. I hope you don't mind me saying this, it seems that based on the likes and hobbies you mentioned that you might be content with a comfortable life that allows you to do those things, which could be obtained in a less expensive state by saving up, living frugally etc whereas the pace of the place you're in and places you applied is much faster, commonly leads to burn out, and can be empty and superficial, it also takes a lot of time and work to make a decent buck and in the process hoping to not get too spent emotionally, physically etc basically the "make it" mantra is hiding a lot and there are different ways to still live a nice life, either way good luck on your journey.
Thanks for the comment. I kind of struggle some days between want a slow life and wanting traditional ideas of success. Working in advertising does lead to a lot of burn out because it's just making the rich richer. Not exactly the most fulfilling thing in the world. But at the very least, I can stack my money now. I do live in LA but because it's so expensive (studios for 2k and up) it has cheaper options (renting a room in a house for several hundred) that aren't common in other states. So I save at least on rent, funny enough, by living here. I'm working now to get as financially independent as possible and one day (hopefully soon) be able to comfortably make the choice about exactly what pace of life pleases me. Thanks for the food for thought!
This is what we did to our mom when we were small XD "BUT WHY" and I'm the end she would say. " Because I'm your mom and I said so"
This is actually a good point, but the movie did show a bunch of colonialism. So it might be a fun idea to make a (maybe satirical) movie titled something like "the real pirates of the Carribbean"
I just want to say “fuck a job i really like spending time with my family!” 😂. All to say your feelings are very very valid! Please don’t think that you’re the problem that you need to “fix” by going to therapy or som (unless u really want to ofc). Honestly it’s a hard place to be at. I also realized that I’m never gonna love work. There’s probably no dream job for me because at the end of the day I’ll still be working around someone elses schedule which like u said “ruins it.” Because of that i realize that i have two options. 1) start a “side hustle” and work for myself, because altho not easy nor fun all the time, i can 1) set my own hours 2)pick my own clients (I’m not working with clients just listing pros), 3) work from anywhere (goodbye 30+ min drive to work!), and 4) make money doing the things that I like. And yes monetizing ruins it too but at least you get to be on your own schedule and work on your terms? 2nd option is find a job where the labor to income/time ratio makes sense for you. A job that doesn’t require too much out of you, and has a good enough compensation for you to feel “satisfied” and that allows you to have more free time that u can invest into your hobbies! I hope this helps but you’re honestly not alone. Working 40++ hours a week to potentially be able to afford a trip 10+ years down the road is a scam!
Thank you Vitana! ❤️ I don't know what's next for me quite yet, but I've been glancing and freelance for the past few weeks and considering it. Maybe I'll bite the bullet. Hopefully we can both find a GREAT effort to income ratio and get out of this mess!
You are so smart and intuitive. Keep that strong mind of yours and you will meet the right flower 😊well person.
I’d be curious as to whether or not, you have the book plot already established or if you are writing the story as you go.
The plot is already established, but I occasionally tweak as I go. Some people are pantsers though - they don't plot at all and write by the seam of their pants!
I really like how transparent and real you are about your hopes, fears and process. Don't be discouraged by slow progress or recognition, often it's not talent, but luck really makes people famous. I see how many videos you're making, and I really really want you to succeed.
Thank you, I appreciate it ☺️❤️
TAKE the trip.
The regime says the economy is fine.
I just got laid off last month from my escrow Officer job for a huge home builder. I definitely saw it coming. Thankfully they paid out 40 hours of pto, paid me an extra week of work that I’d didn’t actually have to do, 1 months severance, and my full 2022 bonus. The entire company is in shambles. It’s bad bad. I’m back to slinging hair as a master stylist lol making more than I was.
Nice to hear you pivoted so well! 😀
Isnt that awesome when you get laid off then go back to work making more than you did at your job lol
