I’d love to have some! I’ve been wanting to try making sourdough. 😊
I'd love to send you some! Can you shoot me an email to where you would like it sent please? You can find my email in the description page on our channel.
Great idea!
How do you have time for all of this?
Some days are easier and I have more time, other days not so much. I've been learning how to incorporate things like this into my daily routine for 3 years now and it's like a hobby for me with added benefits. Also I'm a stay at home mom/homesteader and thankful for my husband's hard work outside of our home so I can do what I do.
@WrattRanch many I can't wait to be done with school. It takes all my time. I love learning and being in an education setting but man I also love other hobbies like baking and cooking and those take a lot of time that I don't have. One day i hope I can change up my lifestyle
Wishing you all the best! ❤️
Storing garlic in oil is unsafe. Especially if you are suggesting storing them on the shelf at room temp. Low acid foods trapped in oil creates an oxygen-free environment. Boiling for 2 minutes will not kill botulism spores. Also, you did not specify how or where to store these jars of garlic in oil, increasing the risk of people unwittingly storing them at room temp. Even in the refrigerator this may only be safe storage for a few days. Storing a low-acid food, in an oxygen-free environment (in oil) at room temperature is not safe, botulism can develop quickly under those conditions. The only safe way to store garlic in oil, to my knowledge, gathered from several reputable sources; the USDA, and agricultural university publications, is to mince or puree it, store it in a 2:1 ratio of oil:garlic, and freeze it in an airtight container. Keep it frozen at all times, and only scoop out what you want as needed for use in recipes. Even then it should be consumed within 4 months. Good luck, hope this info is helpful. I just don't want anyone to become ill.
You dont say why or how it takes 4 weeks to make
It's an infusion. The acidity from the apple cider vinegar helps to draw nutrients out of the ingredients . By 4 weeks you'll notice the produce has lost its color and nutrients will be available to consume in the vinegar.
Can I use Cayenne pepper instead of the white pepper corn?
Most definitely you can add cayenne pepper but I would still add white or black pepper if you have it.
The black/white pepper is a healthy promoting component if you absolutely don't have it then just do what you can it will still be very healthy for you.
.
Nice to someone buys something other than a John Deere tractor. It makes having acreage so easy and cuts the time it takes to get something gone.
We love our New Holland definitely not big on John Deere in this family.
video vlog yang keren semoga sukses
Thank you
So i love the video🫰🏾no cap🔥💛 I was looking for ways to preserve garlic without a fridge or vinegar And yours came faster & better🤗🐱 basically i can do this and have garlic oil too for salad dressings😋 But if possible could you try other veggies(like green leafs, ginger or even carrots) please🥲 that can be preserved with this your method & post them😅😊 I'll sub to your channel for more❤🎉
Thank you so much for the kind comment I will try to get more videos out there soon on this!
@@WrattRanch alrighty🤗💛
You are very close! Thats cool! Maybe a migrator ? Happy humming ❤ ours have moved south
Easy, healthy and delish! Thanks for the recipe! Planting my elderberry tree in the yard soon… but in the meantime, will be doing this with some of my neighbour’s harvest… ☺️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
wow it's looking like your farm is coming along nicely. and using the goats to do trimming is a good idea until they eat what there not supposed to.
Oh, honeygirl. Please read comments of more experienced women, and stop using this technique. Blanching is not killing anything, plus, you used bare hands. Confit? No. Congrats on efforts, but you have a lot more to learn.
Since olive oil is pretty expensive could you substitute vegetable oil instead?
Enjoyed the video 😊
Thank you!
You did not mention all the ingredients, only 2 what is the rest of them?
Hi I purchased an organic herbal dewormer powder from Molly's herbals and only mixed it with molasses. You can look up ingredients in powder but formula 1 is mainly wormwood and black walnut and formula 2 is garlic and other ingredients.
Where do you all live? In Europe or America?
America
@@WrattRanch oh okay, me too. What state do you guys live in, if you don't mind me asking?

Are you giving them pork rinds to get them in the trailer
Gotta do what you gotta do 😂
Wheres thr tree and why
It was a huge rotting tree on our property next to our goat pasture. It was bound to come down eventually so we wanted to make sure it fell the right way.
Done, it smells soo good. Have to wait forvit to cool to cut it. I did cime out a bit dispropirtion, but my pan was a bit smaller, it rose lot in the 1hr rest.
Im trying your recipe just now, but I cut to half recipe
Hope you like it!
@@WrattRanch ill update you, ty
What was a goat stud fee? & what variety of blueberry are you using? I'm looking for a sweeter variety, one good for snacking.
I don't know the average cost for goat stud fee because we got a really good deal from someone we already know. The blueberry varieties we have are pink lemonade and highbush. Of the two highbush is sweeter and larger blueberries 🫐
Just say no! The main concern is botulism, and boiling water isn't hot enough to kill botulism without some chemical assistance in the form of acid. That is why you have to pressure can low acid foods - a pressure cooker is the only way to get up to the required temp to kill them off.
My uncle ate one peeled garlic clove raw for years and years .HE WAS IN HIS LATE 90s WHEN HE PASSED AWAY. He was extremely healthy and looked younger than his age.😊
it is not recommended to infuse oil with fresh garlic. you may end up making botulism instead of oil storing garlic. do your research people.
Congratulations...my best to you all!
Thank you so much!
@@WrattRanch You are most welcome!
Just so you know, paper towels these days are full of chemicals 😫😫😫 Google it and you’ll see. It’s horrible that we live in such a toxic world.
You have picked some very docile tame and calm breeds...cackle have great and healthy stock.
They do. We have purchased from them on multiple occasions!
Beautiful flock....where do you purchase your chicks from?
Thank you! We purchased from cackle hatchery

a brilliantly informative and educational watch. thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it
Congratulations in getting your new dog ! He will be a very valuable addition for you. It's good for your dog to mark, as it helps keep predators away. Dogs do a better job at keeping vermin, and unwanted predators away than any other animal. You said your cat jumped the dog, don't let the cats get to sassy for their own good. The dogs are far better to have around. They are as valuable as gold. Hope all goes well, do another video soon on how things are going.
Thank you! We are praying all goes well and will keep everyone updated!
He’s stunning❤
Thank you!
Follow along to find out what we use now!
Interesting. I do mine in jelly jars, Little bit of kosher salt and white vinegar. But leave it in the fridge. Wondered why I occasionally get a sticky coating in the drawer. Mine usually last a year as long or as long as we personally need, once the heads are done. Just pressed a bunch and added the oil and salt and put a tablespoon or less into ice cube trays. It's supposed to be the best if pressed. Pop 1 out and your cooking. Looks like butter cubes.

Sweet pea?
This sounds great. I was wondering if anyone has tried it with Splenda or other artificial sweeteners. I’m going to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! That is a great question. I've never tested it myself but I did research it a little for you and it looks possible.
Do you seal the lids to garlic in olive oil
No you don't have to
I love your homestead also . . . And I don't even live there
Thank you that is very kind!
