BTW, starting Jan 1 2025, the 2025 Cybertruck AWD (and upcoming RWD) now qualifies for the $7500 federal tax credit. I pretty much the same thing, except I actually had the CT order in.. so lost $250 but got the $100 back. I also took a slight credit (hard check) hit since was approved for a loan. I also didn't see the $7500 credit and was concerned. I ended up with the Lightning Flash (after research and the 2024 having new heat pump), too with almost $15K discounts (Fed plus dealer incentives). They also gave me $3K more for my Model Y trade-in than Tesla would have. No regrets!

"Cancelling My Cybertruck Reservation"... after watching 1 of 1,000's of videos reminding me it's a total waste of money, POS. Tesla's marketing team should have cancelled the project to save the brand.

I am exactly in the space you are. I preordered based upon the stated specs at the reveal. Generally Elon is late on his promises but usually delivers. This is not the case with CT. CT currently misses huge on range and price which are compounding factors. I am also very disappointed in Tesla as they sold a package in foundation series that lacked the promised features and add-ons. Our Family has two Teslas now and while they are our favorite cars ever, we are now looking at other options because we will have two grandchildren in rear-facing childseats and this is not good in either model Y or Model 3 for tall people. Now that NACS charging is open, the options are there.

I test drove a cyber and i loved it. But i also cancelled my reservation last week. Pricing just doesn't make sense and the range shortfall from what was estimated to what was actually delivered doesn't help either.

Totally understandable, and I agree, on all your points. Besides those, the CT has so many concessions of form over function that it doesn't really make as much sense as a more normal truck. By all accounts, the Lightning is an awesome truck!

I went with the 750 lights thinking they were split in 2, so I have half on my 6 1/2 tree and just left the other bundle under the tree as a ball of lights ugh! They do look pretty though and for the price I got them for at Costco totally worth it. Next year I will go with less lights and use these for outside.

Ive had mine (150') just a little over a year installed on the soffit. They look and work great, I generally use the DIY section, and others created light settings. When i installed mine I used 1 clip with a screw per led cube, as I didnt trust the 3m tape by itself here in the midewest with out extreme heat & cold. The best part about these is you have year-round custom lighting and don't ever have to go up and mess with the lights themselves everything is controlled via the govee app.

You're supposed to start wrapping the lights in the middle of the tree. One strand goes up and the other strand goes down the tree. That way you can better determine how much slack and how dense you want the lights to be. It also makes it less time consuming. I made the mistake of starting both strands at the bottom and weaving both up the tree crisscrossing each other. Spent over 1 hour putting up the lights when it should have taken 30 minutes.
