This channel was created to help some of the do-it-yourself guys get off the ground with some decent reference points. I do tuning, some fab work, and stand alone installs. I started working with Tunerpro RT and Binary editor on EEC IV and EEC V Fords. Now I pretty much do about any make and model I can get software for, and have some experience with a few different stand alone systems like Megasquirt/Microsquirt, Holley HP/Dominator, Fast, and FiTech. This is my daily. 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, 3 bar map, SP534 plugs gapped at .028", Snow Performance water/methanol kit with 75% methanol. I tuned the car with hptuners. 17.5psi average, with spikes to 24psi on the shifts. Just an 1/8 mile dig hit. The car regularly puts 1-2 cars on fbo drag radial Scat packs, Coyotes, and 5th gen cars.

As the title states, ported 3 bar Gt40's, e cam installed on a 112 intake centerline, 1.7 rockers, stinger PiMP ms2 tuned by me, 19psi, 14 degrees, 10.8 afr (gas scale), loose tci converter in the case fill c4, 3.08 gear, M/T Et pro's. Pull is from 25-105...speedo is off.

Harley's first test launch on the 2-step set at 3000 rpm. Installed by Muncy Motorsports. The car has a little trouble with traction. At 3000 rpm it carries 13psi of boost. We may need to back it down, but we will see what it does with slicks at the track.

After installation, we decided to test our installation of Harley White's Msd 2-step box on his modded GT500. Quite impressive we must say. This car made 638rwhp on the dyno.

You need a bigger turbo to have proper turbo lag. My S280 barely spools up slower than the stock KP39. A brief moment of lag, then go-kart time.

I think your just bogging it, usually when ur doing a pull, u either down shift or if your launching it, u usually launch higher than 2500
I don't think downshifting to 1st is a good idea in that case lol
@@Killbaynei mean if hes only doing 1500 rpm, chances are first gear isnt too far off at that speed so he realistically could. For example in my 2020 si which had an extremely short first, 15 mph is 4000 rpm. Assuming his first gear is longer as most manuals have a longer first gear than my si, he may be doing like 3k or maybe 4. All he would have to do to make it easier to get it in is double clutch. It generally not a good idea to floor it from 1500rpm. Thats when detonation is most likely do to occur as the engine is at full effort but the lack of change in rpms is causing hot spots in the cylinder which can in turn cause pre-detonation.
Does it backflip on jumps on 2s? Also whats the runtime on 3s?

The bad thing about those lag is that it kinda stresss the engine before the psi hits
Not when you aren't running stock ignition tables (there are 14 of them in the fiesta and focus st strategy). This car has 8 degrees less ignition timing at low rpm than the stock tune. The stock file is rather hot at peak torque, I pull a bunch out and it still makes the same or even MORE torque with almost 10 degrees less of timing. The rods and pistons are fine for 300wtq. A new video with the 2867r turbo will be posted very soon.

Stock shortblock, cobra gt40's that my brother practiced porting on with cobra 1.7 rockers, Howard's cams 225/231@.050" and .566/.578 peaks, 112 lsa installed on a 108 intake centerline, speedmaster 4150 intake, 75mm tb, ITS Gt80r turbo, 24 psi of boost, Stinger PiMP ecu, holley 120lb injectors with resistors wired in, twin AEM 380 pumps with -8 AN fuel hose, e85 fuel, c4 trans with a custom built turbo converter, stock 8.8 with 3.08 gears.
Is that the 639 roller
It's a 228Cr-8 comp cam. The part number is 11-713-9.
What 2 step do you have?
This was the msd 2 step.
was that a cog belt?
It was just 8psi. Had a stock shortblock with svo heads, b cam, rpm2 intake, and an on3 70mm
How much boost was that there?

@markburridge Hot Rod magazine did a story in this kit. Before the kit their untouched test car made 371rwhp on the dyno. After this kit with no other mods it made 500rwhp and around 485-490trtq. With tuning it yielded 530-ish with a similar gain in torque. Drivability is fenominal. Power is smooth but can be violent if you aren't on your toes.
absolutely awesome. i been searching the net to see what this kit would produce for power, either drag numbers vs stock, or vs boss, gt500, please add more if you plan on runnin her against any of those on track or not.
