Hello, I have a question about using refill cartridges in a Xerox Phaser 6700. We took the "chip" from a spent cartridge and installed it onto the new "refill" xerox cartridge. Before installing the old (working) chip, the "refill" displayed "non-compatible". Changed the chip and all was well. EXCEPT for the "low toner" warning. Any way to clear that? Thanks!

What can be wrong that the corotron needs to be replaced then? I see a red error message about CC Assy. The black drum is fine. How can you see that the print is bad enough, to change the corotron?

Be aware, if you cannot open the first latch, look for a "bar" in-between the first and second latches. If there is one, its a screw, possibly for shipping, keeping the two latches connected and non openable. The screw head can be felt through the center of the sticker and at least a portion of the sticker will need to be removed to access it. It is just a PH2, but pretty long.

Thank you for showing the install including opening the packaging it the drum comes in. We had one in a box in our office that had been unwrapped, but then not installed. So, it was still in the black protective case just hanging out...and I had no clue if it was new or used. Seems like it's new!

Great video, I need to replace the drum kit for a non profit and it appears that there is only 1 part number for the drum kits. Are there different part numbers for the different slots R1- R4?

a principal diferença entre konica e xerox no brasil é que konica tem custo pagina com original muito alto com suprimentos originais , Contudo se usar suprimentos compativeis ou usar adaptacoes (por exemplo desapejar toner de uma maquina maior no frasco de uma maquina menor) o custo pagina pode ficar muito bom . Um ponto muito negativo da konica é a complexidade de manutenção no fusor e cilindros , aumenta muito o custo de pos venda e encarece custos de outsourcing . Já a xerox, no brasil , nao trabalha bem (qualidade de impressao) com suprimentos alternativos, o que obriga o consumidor a comprar originais , contudo , quando se coloca na ponta do lapis o custo de producao de uma xerox versus konica, a xerox fica muito competitiva e apresenta uma experiencia melhor ao usuario . Liberalmente é feio dar manutencao numa konica na frente do cliente , parece que está fazendo uma improvisação técnica.

I have a new canon laser printer and in the print menu it ask all sort of wierd name for the paper Im using. I look on the package and see nothing resembling the coding for the type of paper Im using. so do know which one to select.

I have an inkjet printer, I made a print on an apparently normal sheet but the colors are bright and saturated, intense black and I can't find the type of sheet it is, I have already tried many papers, same settings and the results are opaque and not vivid . The only clue I have is that in very detail it looks slightly textured compared to, for example, the HP 32 Premium, which is very smooth. How can I find out the type of paper? both papers are of the same weight and are letter size papers, without gloss. The one that produces bright colors has a minimally warmer tone than white HP paper. Please Any advice you can give me would help! thks

Hi Matt - I have this printer (C315) and it consistently displays a message that it has a paper jam (both in the front and side). I'll unplug for 3+ minutes and then fire it back up. I may get a few jobs to print and then I get a paper jam warning. There is no paper jam and unplugging it for at least three minutes is the only way I've been able to have the paper jam message go away. I've read that a sensor may need to be replaced. Would you happen to have any thoughts or recommendations?

Do you have to replace the whole imaging kit (color or black) or does Xerox sell a drum replacement. The black is streaking and printing light on my 315c, is it best to just do the Imaging black kit or can I replace just the black drum?
