What are your setting on the nicrew light? I have a 100 watt and I can’t get my gsp or hammer to open up
Nice tank bro, buy snail they gonna help you a lot with algae check you nitrates and phosphate if they algae your nutrients are high, but look great 👍
Awesome thank you, will do. Which snails do you recommend
Looks great!
Thank you
CLEAN THE TANK There is poop to clean up
That's not poop, it's algae
@@REEFNEWBmy bad
No worries 😆
Not sure why this is in my recommended but good luck with content creation! Best of luck
I appreciate that
Absolutely beautiful outstanding tank
I appreciate it!
My toadstool is probably one of my favourite corals!
What color is yours?
@REEFNEWB pink with green polyps
@Nicsreef I bet it looks incredible
This will have the opposite effect you are looking for. The cause of dinos is little to no phosphate. Dose reef roids to raise phosphate levels.
I went ahead and turned off the lights for 2 days and they're all gone for now. I will post an update. I've heard that phosphate directly impacts dinos and then I've also heard that their is no correlation.
Can you do a par test for the light
Will do most likeley tomorrow
A month? I suppose it's a salt water.
Yeah it's going to be a pico reef tank
@@REEFNEWB I'd like to do a salt water. But I'll stick to fresh water lol easier. Just set up a 10 gallon in the kids room check it out on the channel
@shanegasparich3148 ill check it out right now. I did freshwater for about 14 years before jumping into saltwater
Hey man, just gonna add my 2c here.. Personally I would not recommend a fairy wrasse in an aquarium under 200L/55gal. They are exceptionally active fish and if they don’t have space will injure themselves or jump when spooked (a net is a must, not a solid lid as they will break their spine). Also they do NOT bury in the sand like other genus of wrasses a shallow sand or bare bottom is fine. Also regarding the Mandarin fish, a captive bred specimen that eats prepared foods should do fine in a small aquarium as long as it is well fed (therefore more water changes). A wild caught Mandarin will struggle to find enough food if it cannot be very quickly trained to eat aquarium foods. Wild caught are better off in larger established systems.
Thank you for the feedback. I will update my video, that makes a lot of sense regarding the mandarin. The one I had was wild caught. It never ate dried foods.
@ all good mate 👍 Do you listen to any reefing podcasts?
@@insanity4224 Is there one you recommend?
@@REEFNEWB a few.. - Reef Therapy (Reef Builders pod) - Reef Bum - Beyond the Reef - Reef Beef - Tidal Gardens podcast - Watercolors aquarium The thing with podcasts is that you actually learn and gain an understanding that you can’t get from reading. I’ve abandoned forums completely, a waste of time in my opinion. Reef Beef and Beyond the Reef for example have guests from all aspects of the hobby that get time to explain a teach their knowledge. And I’d recommend listening to Reef Therapy from the beginning to current. Great back catalogs on all these pods.
@insanity4224 awesome, thank you. I appreciate the recommendations! I'm going to check them out!
Haha love it
😄
Looks good the scape
Thank you, I got it from my buddies at reef lab aquatics.
You know if you beg you don’t get it
New videos don't have that audio! You're right

Your comment won, so you'll get to pick which clown goes into the nano tank

I'll give it a week and daily updates
Which one has better designer fish?
I would say Ocellaris
Good luck
Thank you
Thanks
You should get a tank big enough for the shark 🦈
I would love to if I had the space and money for it
Nice video quality
Thank you!
add a whitespotted bamboo shark
I just looked that up. It doesn't get very big, but my tank is way too small 😅
@@REEFNEWB alright
@@Archerglacier thank you for the recommendation
gochu
Thank you
Mandarin goby
I love that suggestion. I heard they eat flat worms, and as you can see, I have a lot of those in my tank at the moment.
No
😆 🤣 😂
Don’t make every video saying pls don’t scroll start giving some info in your videos get a mic or something and watch what some bigger aquarium TH-camrs do and do some stuff similar to them
I just got a mic, I did my first one yesterday. It would be 2 videos ago
@@REEFNEWB ok cool I’ll go check it out
@HayesPhillips thanks, the new ones are all my audio
Can I make a recommendation
Of course
What’s going on?
Got some dinos, they multiplied way too fast and covered all my corals. Apparently my water was "too clean" i was over filtering it and didn't allow for the biome to establish
@ thanks.
@Todoe12 of course, no problem, I was told my phosphate was too low
@@REEFNEWB ahh
