@@kotelcohenmike s40 &s80 is the same car.... remove the headliner move the seat full ahead, lover it down, and dan twist litelbit the headliner left or right depen wher is the steering wheel and it come out without a problem....
zapekli su se ili su stavili ljepilo... pokusaj zagrijati saraf brenerom ili nekom lemilicom obicno pomogne ali pazi da nesto ne spalis.... zastiti ruckice necin npr neki lim eli deblji sloj alu folije, a grippvi imaju obicno neko ljepilo koje ih zaljepi, probaj grijati fenom i malo po malo ih vrtiti dok ne popuste ali obavezno rukavice da si ne spalis ruke.... nadam se da sam pomogo...
Pokušavam zamjeniti gripove i ne mogu skinuti utege imbusom, ne mogu ih pomaknuti niti milimetar. Imaš kakav savjet? :)
Jako, ali jako su zašarafljeni... dobar ključ i na kratke udarce, i odglaviti će se... ne uprijeti svom snagom, nego ono, kao da ideš sa impact-drill-om, ali sa osjećajem ;)
How did you get the headliner out of the car? Did you have to remove any of the seats? Did you have to bend the headliner in half like a taco?
to get out a headliner, put down the seat and the headliner com out from the front door without twisting
Is there any problem with removal around side airbags and their cover plastic?
a headliner dont have airbags, and the A,B,C pilars also... if you have airbags disconect the battery for safety
@@jones43it I know that doesn'have, but above of fixture od seat-belt is airbag with white plastic on it....
@@sbborg3352 when remove the plastic, the airbag is fixed on the chassis... you don't need to touch it...

you don't need to remove the plastic just lose a litel bit to have space to remove the hedliner...

What is the rubber used for the repair? Is it just any other weatherstrip, like from e36 or e46 sedan?
I used the rubber for engine bay.... just trim a litel bit and glued with sikkafleg 391 black... use also a soap to smooth the surfaces.... And then leav in positions with scotch tape for 24h... Where are two trims connected insert a pice of trim conectin strip to do the job....

nije lose, kakvo je stanje sa limarijom? mislim ja sam gledao e36 do 3000 eura i apsolutni svaki je bio jako trul (pragovi najvise)
Moj je za svoje godine bio odlican sta se limarije tice... Desni prag mala rupica promjera 18mm lijevi prag lagani znakovi korozije i kod prednje desne mulde jedna mala rupica.... To je sve sanirano i auto polakiran na novo....
Ma etriseja ne moze biti stara taj auto ce ziveti vecno
