Yea valid have comtemplated that, just not confident who is r1-r3, like i mentioned same with defense im not confident in d1-d6 so would rather some wiggle room in both of those and fill them mid season when we know who are the best players. All i know in ruck is Xerri for top 3 and the rest is a guessing game

Matt Rowell is interesting he has falling off a lot since that arm injury in his debut year, he is a gun inside midfielder but after that shoulder injury, he hasn't been the same where in his first 4 games of his debut he was averaging 126.3. Now the most shocking part is in that 4 game stretch he kicked 6 goals, for the rest of his career in 3 seasons he has only kicked 4 more. So I believe Rowells biggest issue is his outside game cause in his first 4 games of the afl season he had elite contested numbers like he does now and still got tackles however Rowells marking and goal-kicking have plummeted from the guy we saw in his debut season 2020 and were excited for. He will come good one day but i think he will need another couple of pre-seasons to work his game so i would recommend jumping off the Rowell ship and going up to another midfield premo or banking the cash going to JVR to do some upgrades next week. In the case of Warner he is a bit unlucky he was due for a bounce back that was more Longmire playing with his role but i have more confidence that Rowell probably doesn't get back to 2020 scoring unless he has a Christmas miracle and plays a 5x better outside game. Hopefully, this Analysis helps with a decision :)

Def has impressed over the likes of a steele and parish, obvs warrants the wing and fwd risk but if thats completely gone now i don't see a reason not to start him

Love Bytel and hoping we get to see him next week, atm my F5 is Mclean but if i can make SAV my r2 if he has another impressive game then i feel that F5 spot should be filled up with either JHF, Bruhn or Ziebell in that order. However those 3 in order can change depending on next week but i don't like the look of teams that have JHF, just needs one more week for me personally

Had a toe injury sadly, still gave him a tick as the coaches pressy at the end for WCE sounded they disspointed as they want to play him straight away and develop him, they're hoping we get to see him next week but still ticks the box by the coaches opinions on him

@@StackSC13 I love way he plays ! Real hard at it , And he gives us something diff in the guts . Just not sure he keeps that role once butters back , boak went off early yesterday to . Our mids are flexible … which is slight concern for sc I guess .

Rozee looked good in the time he did play though , he’s prob the only port mid I’ll look to start with . Jhf did catch eye to though , it’s tough ! Haha

All decent picks just preseason concerns over all of them but if they tick the watchlist could def start one or two of them. Nat fyfes question is if his fit will he get at least 40/60 or 50/50 mid/fwd split, also nick coffield can he run out the preseason unharmed to be considered. Lastly Weddle looks good but unless an injury or Sammy Mitchell really wants youth i dont see how he breaks into that Hawks 6. But the 3 players you mentioned im hoping all have a great preseason, 100% would like to start some of them

@@StackSC13 hawks people are saying Weddle plays round 1 as long as he keeps tracking how he is currently. Its not exactly a hard side to break in to

Nat Fyfe will be almost exclusively played fwd. So many better and safer options. Coffield still hasnt joined full training after suffering some sort of hammy. Weddle is a big watch for r1 according to Hawks ppl. Definitely a bench option

Def could be, interesting to see if he can reach 500k mark, im hyped about him but want two good jlt matches from him with some sprinkles of mid mins. If so then def could be a stepping stone

@@StackSC13 should be fully fit , I’ll be tracking him hey . When he is fit he usually rucks solo and interesting price! Could be an option at r2 … I’ll take my bias away and say DC be better option though

But part me wants to stick dc in my fwd line so can use his dpp if an injury in ruck spot haha . Got a while to make these decisions

yea totally agree, english is set for me but my R2 is between Nank, Marshall and DC. I guess my opinion of DC is the fact i picked him up for 300k last year in the fwd so i loved him for what he done its just that bitter bias of getting him as premo in R2 but i should just suck it up and get him. Man can take another step this year
