Sleep - Interview @ Scion Rock Fest 2012 (Scion AV) (Reupload)
Sleep, go into detail about having the best time in the world, unity and dropping your guard.
Sleep evolved in the early 1990s and has exerted a considerable, consistent influence on modern heavy music ever since. The group split in 1997 after the release of two hugely influential albums-Sleep's Holy Mountain and D*pesmoker-returning triumphantly in 2009 when it performed two UK shows as part of All Tomorrow's Parties' (ATP) The Fans Strike Back festival, playing Holy Mountain in its entirety along with selections from D*pesmoker. The rabid fan response to the 2009 shows resulted in a run of U.S. live dates in September 2010 that immediately sold out. In celebrating the band's return, The New York Times referred to the trio as "excellent" and The Chicago Tribune called Sleep "stoner-rock titans."

Six Feet Under - Interview (Scion AV) (Reupload)
มุมมอง 12K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this exclusive video interview, vocalist Chris Barnes reveals his songwriting methodology and credits the music for inspiring his words.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 🐷😅
Chose a killer intro tune. Reckless is definitely one of their best newer tracks
Chris Barnes is a cool Dude..
That's the healthiest I've ever seen Barnes look. I wish he'd ditch the dreads, he had the most beautiful hair way back when. And I'm not even gay I'm just follicly challenged and can't process why anyone would ruin the gift of a proper mane. No Ho Mo.
🤘🤘
THE MF’N GOAT!
dudes been grinding harder for longer, at the start of a younger age. Then most of the jokers and hoagies giving him shit for growing a beard and keeping it easy on stage. CHRIS IS THE BAR. START GRINDING
He’s got a charm and gentleness in his way of talking you can tell
I love this guy, always a fan
Me too! Alot of people hate on him and six feet under. I like them. First album is freaking amazing!
Meeeeeee too
AL Cisneros BOSS FOR LIFE 🕉🙏🕉
Let it be known that Chris Barnes was the first singer to cannibal corpse..he invented death metal..and moved on into doing other things..all the now a days ppl will never understand. Everything is a compare .. But Chris Barnes is a legend in the death metal industry..and he can do whatever he wants.. Weed death metal, cocaine death metal...SFU forever!
I just wanna give Al a big hug, what a legend. Follow the smoke!
please tell me you have that awesome video that scion av uploaded of they playing dopesmoker in that show
Always vicious vocals. Not sure why Six Feet Under gets such hate.
he seem a pretty smart guy
haha
Whats the actual date and year of this interview?
2012 probably
@@paranormal_0410Thanks
We love you so much al 💜
Who knows, who can explain, what is a recipe for looking so young at his 55?
This must be older
He keeps say 20 years. Dudes been in the game 30+
he keeps saying. not say
This interview is probably at least 10 years old, so it would have been 20 years to him when this interview was filmed. The titles states that it's a "reupload", and Scion AV has been defunct for about a decade.
2:20 I’m sorry but that EEEEEE made me laugh.
Me too
Legend!! 💀💯🤘
Prefiero a barnes que a Fisher
Man what the hell happened to this Chris?
He should have shaved the dredds off and regrew his regular hair long ago.
Always been a fan of him. A lot of people hate on him for some reason. Cannibal corpse was better with him. And the early days of SFU? Holy shit. Amazing and brutal.
His voice is completely screwed. Even for death metal standards. He should take a break and work on his voice
@@stevemuzak8526 at this point it's kind of cool it's so bad .
I don’t think Barnes is very talented. It was like revolution for death metal when Barnes left CC. Death metal got sophisticated, but I think that whole movement of good production and super technical playing got real shitty and death metal kind of sucks now. I don’t listen much death metal and if I do it’s old school.
Fuck all the Haters
Honestly anybody that says cannibal corpse is better than 6 ft under are not to be trusted
Al looks like he'd fall aSLEEP any moment.
Six feet under ❤️❤️❤️
Fuckkkkkkkkk everything and everyone ,,,,,you are Chris Barnes!!!!!!!!!, everyone wants to be you in death metal,,,,,,,,,period!!!! Fuck them allllllll!! Thank You for Cannibal Corpse!!!!
Hopefully he takes this time to rest his voice and gets it even stronger. 😈🤘
hope so those last 2 albums were awful, now that hes stoppeed drinking & smoking weed his voice might actually be better
Trust me knowing Chris, he lowered expectations on purpose, he has been mad and said how he does everything on purpose, I think it was the one last album where he did his high EEEEs (whats left of them) just for fun, he defiantly knows he doesnt sound nearly as scary or brutal, but he knows hes having fun and just going with whatever, Next Six Feet Under album will be insane I garentee it.
Yea sir ...😈
What a legend...hes looks nice and super intelligent ....great talker
The last album may not have been strong but you can't deny his contribution to the scene. Hopefully we'll get a solid six feet under album or a new project all together
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER
Bezsensowny komentarz. Niektórzy odnośnie Chrisa Barnesa tylko to potrafią napisać. Ja akurat bardzo lubię tę wstawki wokalne.
@@sobeszczyn2251 EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@@jamesobrien8529 fantastyczny komentarz🤗. Coś ciekawego dziś jeszcze napiszesz, czy to już definitywny koniec 🤔?
@@sobeszczyn2251EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Haven’t heard Al talk this much
Why did all the scion band interviews get taken down
❤💯💫💥
I just got done destroying George Fisher in his coat tailing. Go on Mr. Barnes.
what
Scion did a lot for the underground music scene for a little bit. They need to tap back in 🤞
hes so soft spoken until you put the mic in his hands....undeniable talent Mr. Barnes. Thank you for your contribution to music, sir
Glad this got re-uploaded. This interview is probably 12 or 13 years old as of now. Edit- looks like the quality is higher than the original upload. Interesting.
Best Death metal group in the world and my heart❤👑🤘👑❤💐🌷💐
Ещё blood red throne🤘
So grateful you uploaded this, thanks! I love Al lol
