Banbury Choral Society performing in St Mary's Church, Banbury, under their conductor, Jonathan Kingston and accompanied by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Orchestral Percussionists, Charles Matthews on organ and the Banbury Choral Society String Ensemble.

The sopranos from Banbury Choral Society lead the choir in this beautiful moving piece, written originally by Sir John Rutter as a separate anthem in 1976.

Banbury Choral is very lucky to have members of the choir who were prepared to perform the solo parts in Fauré Requiem for their performance in St Mary's Church, Banbury on Saturday 13th July 2024. Terry Davies, sang the Baritone Solo in this beautiful and moving piece 'Offertorum'. This is one of two videos taken on the evening.

The Baritone solo in 'Libera Me' was sung by Simon Angel, one of the members of Banbury Choral. 'Fauré & Rutter Requiems' were performed by the choir at St Mary's Church, Banbury on Saturday 13th July 2024. This is the 100th Anniversary of Gabriel Fauré's death and this concert was a fitting tribute to him alongside the esteemed composer, John Rutter, whose work is performed all over the world.

Banbury Choral Society performs the opening number to 'Carmina Burana' under the baton of Jonathan Kingston accompanied by pianists Julian Harris and Craig Greene and percussionists from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The wonderful acoustics in St Mary's Church Banbury only helped to enhance the sound and support the singers voices.
