Love seeing these roll.....always a good day when a T/A takes the checkered flag.....i have a dozen or so 57 T Birds ....they move pretty good for a lighter casting

Nice collection but having been into Ferrari models some 40yrs, I'm afraid HWs actually took some of the "magic" away from Ferrari as cars. I have often maintained that Bburago made nicer models, despite not often in 64th scale. The late 80s Matchbox models give a better representation of both the F40 & Testarossa too. I'm lucky enough to have swapped some cars recently for a 2nd release silver version of the RaceBait 308 on blackwalls & it's probably my most treasured Ferrari by HWs. Unfortunately Mattel have made a few of the 64scale Ferraris with larger diameter rear wheels, their F40 is a truly appalling model, as is their original F355 (criminal creation!) & as for their 1/18 models? Dear lord, I had two & both were awful, using cheap brittle diecast (I would even say contaminated) of the type that Italian diecast makers Polistil used to use in the 1970s. I know they are pricey, but the newer Bburago 1/43 Ferraris are nice looking efforts, though I only like Ferraris before the Enzo model.....

Nice! F40's are always a great car on the track. Hard to beat a fast one. I just ran one of mine with the lace wheels and it had not been down the track in a few months, it beat a car I have been working on for a couple weeks by half a second :/

Flea Markets are the best! I am sooooooo jealous over that Gulf livery Nova. Nice one! I have had some good luck at a nearby antique store. Sometimes there are some good finds for cheap in places like that.

I don't do much with graphite, but i will say that i have been able to make some of my garage sale finds quite a bit more competitive by applying a little dust. Also salvaged one or two from the sandbox surprisingly well. So it might be neat to grab some graphite and experiment with some of your more played with ferraris to see if there is any speed to be recovered.
@@RoughdiamondRacer I’ve just started dusting a few for mail-in races. From what I’ve seen you would right. Would definitely help the older played with cars. I’ve been running cars from my collection looking for natural speed. And those will get the graphite treatment for sure!

That Lotus did well. I have a couple, though not the same color as yours. Neither are anything impressive.

Nice racing! As usual...i consistantly pick the slowest car, even in my own decide you ride events. Lol. Well, at least i was in the top 8 this time. Thanks for the chance to participate. Looking forward to seeing whats next.
