Seals & Sun! Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay Hike
มุมมอง 10128 วันที่ผ่านมา
We were lucky on this beautiful hike from Sandfield House Caravan Site, Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay. Total distance was 9.11 miles taking the bus back from Robin Hoods Bay to Whitby for Fish & Chips! This takes in the 199 steps, Whitby Abbey, The Old Fog Horn Building and Lighthouse and we were also followed by four seals down the coast. Warning this route can get slippy in wet conditions! The Yorkshire 3 Peaks - One hell of a walk!
มุมมอง 3353 หลายเดือนก่อน
Our epic hike with the Lincolnshire Hiking Buddies. 8 of us took on the 24.78 mile challenge and we all made it back! Stunning views in the Yorkshire Countryside but this walk is not for the faint hearted and you need a good overall level of fitness and good length strength to take on some very challenging ascents. Link to the OS Maps route is here: explore.osmaps.com/route/22363559/yorkshire-3...
Scary paddle!!! Canoeing along the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
มุมมอง 653 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is the longest Aqueduct in Great Britain as well as the highest canal aqueduct in the world! This 18-arched stone and cast iron structure is mainly for use by narrowboats and was completed in 1805. It took 10 years to build and spans the River Dee. Not for the faint hearted but a fantastic experience and thanks to @beardedmenadventures for an amazing paddle. www.pontcysyllte-aqueduct.co.uk...
WARNING...we got soaked!!! Pen-y-Ghent and Plover Hill via Hull Pot
มุมมอง 493 หลายเดือนก่อน
We walked this in mid-June in preparation for the full Yorkshire 3 Peaks in July. WARNING the route from Pen-y-Ghent to Plover Hill was very wet and boggy, sturdy waterproof boots and good leaping skills may be required! We also stopped off at Hull Pot, the collapsed cavern, and then drove over the Ribblehead Viaduct to catch drone footage of the steam train with the DJI Air 2S. You start in Ho...

Hi Jon, superb video music fits well with the wonderful views, have been to Berwick upon tweed but at least 15 years ago, loved the Azuma going over the viaduct and of course the drone footage, plus the seals and sea birds on the island, great watch mate cheers nigel
