Great advice, Jim. Something that works for me, especially if I'm overwhelmed or overloaded, is to simply get up and take a 15 minute walk outside. Getting some fresh air, getting some perspective usually helps me untangle the knots I've tied myself up in mentally.
That's a good one - I'm an avid walker. I used to go for walks and listen to music. Now, I walk to tune into my own thoughts. You are 100% - a short 15-20 walk mid-day will ignite a newfound level of energy. Appreciate the comment.
Hey Jim, great shot of useful ideas. Thanks so much.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Let us know if we can help in any way.
Shoot - "Don't mistake activity for achievement" hit hard today.
That's something I keep in mind every week. Glad it meant something to you--appreciate you taking the time to offer your perspective.
Valuable reminder. Have a great day!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Thank you so much ✌️this is educational and very helpful to me
Appreciate the kind comments. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Jim. I really enjoyed the series. Took a few notes to work on a bit more such as not splitting my attention during meetings (a bad habit) as well as reinforce some others that I do but can do better like tone change. I’m overly passionate and it comes off loud and aggressive sometimes. Cheers sir. Looking forward to more videos.
Amazing! I love that you took notes-I do that all the time. You're a student of the game-I love it!
Wonderful, was eager to see part 4
Thanks, I am glad you enjoy the series.
Great content
This series is an amazing touchpoint that I find myself coming back to when dealing with folks who challenge my Exec presence. Appreciate these. Great stuff Riv!
Thanks for the feedback, I am glad this was helpful!

Awesome content, thanks
Thank you @rauldiazlanda3738 - glad you like it!
Thanks for great content
Thank you - much appreciated!
Thank you for this video Riv. It was enlightening. But I would love to work for a C-suite executive by helping them solve their problems? Which problem do yoi think they may have that i can help them solve?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, @oluwatobiadeyemi6945. The answer to your question depends on many factors and the state of their business. At the highest level, C-levels are constantly focused on growth, scale, sales, services, product development, margin expansion, strategic alliances, acquisition integration, leadership, retention, etc, etc.
Just 1 idea away! I love it, thank you for sharing
thanks @mikeymaven
Great Insights and advices! Toxic behaviors indeed bring the team moral below and contaminate others.
Thank you! And yes, you are right - it brings morale down big time.
Great message Jim
Thanks Kevin - glad you enjoyed it.
Always good to see your videos, keep it up! 🙋♂️ Btw, are you currently seeking video editors or a thumbnail designer to enhance viewers, retention, or CTR? If yes, May I send you a previous work sample?

music is distracting.
I agree. In fact, we made changes to our recent videos to not include music. Appreciate the feedback. Keep it coming, it only makes us better. Cheers!
Hi Jim, thanks for that clip. It helps me a lot. And it is a nice cup 😍
Thanks @mariuszdobrzanski3082 - appreciate the kind words!

Jim, this is great information. Leadership is a process, one that is ongoing.
Thanks Kevin - appreciate the kind feedback. You are spot on, leadership is a process. As people's needs change, so must our leadership. Thanks my friend!
Riv, this is great advice and spot on, as usual! I have personally had to address and overcome these 8 challenges at Decusoft and I love #1 and #8 as bookends - building trust and ensuring a great company culture are absolutely key. Thanks, as always for the great nuggets of wisdom in a short/concise format! Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks Bob! Appreciate the kind comments.
Thank you for the great inputs and coaching!
Appreciate the kind comments. I am glad you enjoyed! If there are any other topics you’re interested in, lmk. Thanks again!
@@JimRiviello thank you Sir :) I still need to watch quite a few videos from your channel, I would be quite interested about how to properly set goals to my Team members, in order the goals to be challenging, but also achievable - a win - win situation for the employee and the company also. Thank you, have a nice evening )
Love it! Can I just!
Thanks - glad you liked it. Those are three magical words!
Perfect timing! Every leader I know is faced with a lot of uncertainty right now. Thanks for reminding us not to panic and lose our way as leaders!
We have a choice - we can "respond" or "react" to the situations that grace our path. Depending on the choice we make, we will alter the outcome. It is these little everyday decisions that move us closer to becoming the leader we aspire to be. Cheers!
Probably one of the best descriptions I’ve heard. Thanks Riv.
Be different. Do different. Have different.
Couldn't agree more, Jim! FOCUS on the big rocks and "don't sweat the small stuff"
Thanks Brian. You have mastered this leadership skill well. I've seen it and so has your team.
This is super helpful today... having a hard time finding the motivation to get the things done on my list but after watching this, the pressure isn't as intense. I know I'll pick up the momentum if I just START! Thanks Jim!
Thanks Emily! Glad this was helpful.
Riv...once again spot on! Good stuff!!
Thanks Chuck! You are living proof of everything discussed in this video. It is a major inspiration to witness the progress you have made in all aspects of your life. Keep up the good work!
Wow very inspiring video, nice work!
Thanks for these tips, I always get anxiety when coming back from vacation
A Beginners mindset is KEY to being able to adapt
Absolutely! In a beginners mind there are endless possibilities.
None of us have all the answers, we always have to keep learning! Thanks for the reminder.
Being a life-long learner is what makes living so much fun. Whatever challenge stands before you, turn it into an adventure and witness how much lighter you become.
