Dad had a one row CO-OP picker rusting away in the grove. We had graduated to IH mounted pickers when I was old enough to help. Thank you.
Need to get some steam engines out there to plow.
Nice
3rd view. First finger.
Cub is always exciting due to no clearance to work. The tractors weren't much better. Thank you.
Your shop looks like mine brother...so I can definitely relate. "Life" is very busy these days. By God's grace, we'll get through it. Merry Christmas
I’ll get it organized one of these days in my spare time
That is definitely a cold start. My blower has been starting good -4° this morning. Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and your's.
The metal knob was on war year tractors I had a 1946 H with a metal knob, the war effort took all the rubber for military vehicles. nice old M .
That old M still puts in her fair share of work around here
I have played hundreds of hours of Farming Simulator and super want to run a tractor someday. Lots of the game was uploaded to my gaming channel.
It’s fun but it gets expensive. I’m just trying to preserve the “old school” for the younger generations
Awesome!
Don’t sound so happy 😂😂
another good one bud. keep it up. i need to do some of these vids of my projects. but mine would involve a lot more cuss words. these old tractors are worth the effort. they represent an era in this country that we will never see again unfortunately.
i had to laugh a couple times. familiar territory for me. i am in the middle of a 100 refurb now. i am picking up a 70 in about the same condition as yours on saturday that will get a refurb as well. i have a couple others in the queue before it though. these things are great to wrench on. easy to understand and find parts for too. you might want to get you a couple of those magnetic ash tray thingies for fasteners, sockets and other doodads. they keep you from losing stuff and only cost a few bucks.

That is one unique saw. Thank you.
That type of saw actually predates the circular sawmill
How many steam traction engines were there
I didn’t have a chance to count them but there was more than normal
A bunch of steam at Nittany this year
That there was
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 I wasn’t there how many steamers
Good day from Ontario Now that is 2nd time I heard about Plymouth& Silver king Yes many yrs. ago sparks from stram engine burnt down burn. Thanks
Wow 👍
Nice I wish I could be there at Loyalsock idk if my dad will ever go
It’s worth going
I’m gonna have to check out this show in the future on my bucket list as well as a few other shows in Pennsylvania
The club also does a lawn and garden show in May
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 I’m only doing the annual show
Historically I wonder, how many fires were started with some of those steam engines?
Most of them had a spark arrestor if I’m not mistaken
Hey thanks for coming out to the show. It was great to be back there with the Aultman-Taylor.
It was great to have steam back at the show! Always a great show to display at
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 me and Russel plan on having the engine there again next year. If you want I will let you on the engine while we run her.
@@brent.michael.f.j.snyder I’m not coming to Nittany this year maybe another year I’m going to another show in Pennsylvania called the New Centerville Pa farmers and Thresherman’s jubilee maybe I’ll go back another year
@@TheSteamAndGasShowsAndMore I probably won’t be at Nittany this year either but I will be at Loyalsock with the engine.
@@brent.michael.f.j.snyder yea we both won’t be what a surprise i hope you come back another year as I hope I will make it back too
Thanks for the walk around! That’s a really cool museum!!!!! Like a step back in time!!
It is really neat. We’re always getting something different
Looks amazing. If I ever go out that direction I will have to stop and see it in person
I forgot to mention it’s a free museum too
I am one of the guys who runs the last steam engine in this video.
I really appreciate what you guys do with these old machines
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 your welcome. Plan to do it till I die. Started out when I was 9. Now I am 20.
@@brent.michael.f.j.snyder there’s not many steam guys left around this area. I remember when Loyalsock Valley Antique Machinery Association’s show had steamers but there’s none that come anymore
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 actually I got some good news about that.
@@brent.michael.f.j.snyder that’s good to hear. The sawmill isn’t the same with a tractor running it
Wow you stayed that late at night?
Yep it was interesting loading up in the dark afterward
@@duckcotnerantiqemachinery9516 Cool very late though
I wanted to get more footage but you know how it goes
Like watching the steam engines putting on a spark show
Nothing like a good steam pull
That M sounds and looks great! Is the bracket over the left brake housing part of your drawbar swing control.
That bracket has been on that tractor as long as I can remember and I still don’t know what it does
You have almost as many rocks as I have lol.
Yeah there’s a couple of pickers but not a lot of time to pick them LOL
Hope to make it to some shows this year
Loyalsock Valley Antique Machinery Association has another show coming up at the end of July beginning of August
Good running M, like the black stripe 966
That old M still puts in her share of work yet. Here in my part of Pennsylvania the farm sizes are smaller and older equipment is still popular
Good stuff!
Awesome
Ground is a little hard but with the storm last night and the light rain today it should loosen up
Potatoes? Are you still using it to cultivate? I use mine for this also. If you haven't already, find a second set of tine bars and mount a set of hiller shovels on them. This setup works really well when you need to do the hilling around the potatoes. Just drop the cultivator bars off and hang the hillers on.
Yes we still cultivate. We have a set of hillers for it for the potatoes
Wow!! That's an amazing plow! Look at it push all that snow out of the way like its made of frozen water! Yeehaw boys!
its good to see some old iron working the field like it was ment to do. I've got my super C set up as my cultivating tractor. I use my M and 460 as tillage tractors.
