okay as a sword and board fighter you will need to deflect the fire balls that come your way by blocking with your shield. You can't survive a direct attack from his heat ray of death. either run, fly away if all else fails you can double jump to get above the breath ray. If you can stun him with Stun arrows or exploding arrows and get him to land. Head for his head. Head strikes are CRIT's. 100% each time you swing at his head. Make sure to take lots of the 1000 + healing potions. amplify your attacks with the blue elixir and consume a Prayer of the Flame Scroll and if you have the Vulka statue activate it. all of these things stack.

Yes I agree exploding arrows do a massive amount of damage. Just takes a lot to make them.

Thank you for the feed back. I spoke to her and if you have something particular you want to know I will post it in a video. She use to be QA for a game system and literally had to find out why someone might get stuck. then find a solution. Kind of like what we did with the dragon in how we where able to beat it.

Glad I could be of help.. Yes this mage has defeated the dragon. Take my advice and don't fight him on his own turf. As soon as you land on the ring fly to one of the mountains. Get above his death beam ray. And just murder him from a far.

It's a miss mash of three different types of gear. that way I get the best benefit. By the way that single vein of Silver produced 125. The really big one in the video produced 250 silver.

Yea those are great idea's and thank you.. Hollowing out the tree is difficult at best even using the largest block you can make to remove the bulk of the inside of each level. I'm thinking that now we have all these new NPC's to make one of the two empty levels into hotel rooms and just pretend the new NPC's are travelers.

Thank you for the compliment. I recently found out that my ship is disproportionate and needs to be lengthened to make it more realistic. I will be working on it over the Thanksgiving weekend and when I do my update video I will let you know what type of block it is. I'm about 95% sure it is Castle Wall Block though. If you check out the other black mire tree house videos I mention on the map its location. But I will put that into my video as well.

Okay after you have collected the pumpkins as well as the Gentian yellow colored flowers they grow sparsely but they stand out. When you pick them plant them in your garden and plant the pumpkins. The Farmer is the one who gives you the soup recipe. You will also need the Fuzzy Milk from the 4 horned goats you get from the Alpine area or Umber Hollow region.

once you land run over towards the area with the snow on it. as long as you use updraft you will land in the snow then use a pick to notch into the wall of the mountain so the dragon does not knock you off of it. I used obsidian arrows but if you can make the steel the use it instead. don't forget to drink the blue elixir it will add a extra 30 points to your damage. Then consume a flame scroll it will add an additional + 30. You will need about 400 arrows give or take to bring him down. I make a Thousand and killed him 3 times.

@@annasilverwolfe6194 yea i saw glitchez video. I tried the new eternal lightning spell with melee and i almost beat him the first try because it stuns him pretty good. I keep falling in the shroud and dying! I would like to beat him legit really but I will try this if I cant

I beat him!! Kept spamming with eternal chain lightning then whaled on him with level 40 axe!!!!

I also have a melee build and just ended up cheesing him. Essentialy, I used the glider to land on left hand side of the mountain range and the dug a giant tunnel to the top peak. I then engaded the dragon and would fire arrows into his maw until he did his dragon breath at which point I retreat down the tunnel. I then lucked out and he got stuck in the tunnel where I finished him off. I think now that I have seen him I think you could melee him but you need to alway glide accross the arena when he attacks then use stun arrow to being him down, run in melee, rinse and repeat. it would be hectic with zero mistakes allowed. anyway I just cheesed him so that I could finish all quests and achievements. :)

@@nickster.d let me know how it goes. I also had the same issues and gave up doing it that way. My spouse and I even burrowed into the ring making tunnels so when he would do the laser breath we could drop down inside then pop back up when he was stunned. Was a lot of work though.
