Hey mate, thanks for the comment! I don't disagree with you at all, its true, the papis help with the glideslope however, in the sim, many of the lights aren't actually correct from what I've found and in addition to that, I'm very used to the Hornet and viper in DCS where you want to come in lower and glide onto the runway, makes the landings smoother, not "technically" correct though as you have pointed out. EDIT: Just need to add this here, the Garmin 1000 bugs out very often for me, and in trying to set up a procedure, the AP would not align to it let alone let me change it over hence why I'm coming out so far from the left !!!!! Other than that, enjoy your day!

You did cos you were fighting a player as useless as you. Hes flying an f5C and he doesnt know how to flare. Any somewhat decent player can see that youre trying to make them overshoot and slow down too especially in a plane like the f5c which is slow and has mid energy conservation. Also hitting shots like that isnt actually difficult.

@@ruthrau8970 the short format cuts it off, but the game had already noted me it was a C, plus i could gauge the camo and also it was a 10.3 game when i checked on take off

Yeah, ive noticed a MAJOR dip in FPS in this aircraft

thats the price we pay for the radar :) F18 Radar is magic and just kinda rolls dice in a way if it detects something,, heck it even updates between TWS sweeps :D F4 Radar acutally simulates the rays going out of the radar, getting reflected, coming back etc. Have you tried the low radar thingie in the spcial options yet?

I bet it's the CPU. Runs fine on my 5800X3D if it helps - no issues in flat screen, while in VR I get some hiccups but that's my GPU just not being enough for DCS VR without destroying my settings, which I don't want to do (RTX 3080)

@@Galf506 if you alt-tab it can chug a long really badly for a while, i switched to MT and works fine now

@@TazziedoesWTKeep 21 AoA, it will never stall. You can manage the glide with the throttle. I was a little low in my video (I prefer to go low)

Hadn’t flown the 16 since the FM update, it did feel a little different, especially at low speeds.

@@longishlettuce yeah she is a bit of a pain, just gotta find that right aoa and speed. M2k is my favourite to land. Hand off the stick once you get it to speed and only use the throttle to land. Super simple, easy and relatively smooth.
