How do people know these things… besides a “book” or from somebody… were they there..?
That “book” that you’re referring to is the Holy Bible. In fact it’s a series of books, and not just 1 book. And if the Bible isn’t sufficient enough for you, you can always refer to scholarly articles, journals, books that were written for over 2000 years after death and resurrection of Yeshua
@@davidecipro4095 sorry just books for me man… because everyone who spits it out says the same thing… the universe is so big and who am I as a spec of another spec of dust for me to understand it… the grand scheme of the for humanity to get is that sometimes we do not have all the answers to this universe and that’s ok.. like for example I might be wrong and you might be right but the universe is so big looking back… like can you see anyone down there when your up in the clouds… this is the universe…

The problem with mainstream Christianity is that they ask Jesus, the one with ALL authority to save, to be their Lord and savior, but put all their hope in a man who never met him, except by his won authority and testimony. Its a sad case, that this other man spoke outwardly against God, and refused to teach the gospel of Jesus. Go figure. This false teacher I speak of was sent as a test of true love. Unfortunately most fail the test. Hence ; "Many are called but few chosen". To me, in hindsight, this statement by Jesus makes a lot of sense.

“In one version”
I think this message is really the core of the gospel: Jesus came to save us from ourselves (from the temporal and eternal consequence of our sin-sick hearts). The verses alone used in the message make a great summary: The problem of perception Matthew 15:10-20 The importance of the problem Prov 4:23 "Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that's where life starts." Recognition of where the problem starts Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" The solution, and the foreshadowing of Jesus' and the Holy Spirit's role in that Ezekial 36:26 "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Our continual appeal to God's power to change our hearts Psalm 139: 23-24 "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Our yielding to and participation with God's work in us Philippians 4:4-8 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."
