@@liftupyourtrumpet oh I see. I see that only those who are easily deceived could be. As long as one is filled with the Holy Spirit deception is easily identified. All things should be taken to God and to The Word of God. As long as we are rooted in The Word and truth, led by the Holy Spirit and not by man or man's doctrine, we need not worry. What does the Bible say? What would Jesus do? Our job is to go out and share the gospel and love of Christ and lead people to Christ🙌☝️

EGW writings have been carefully studied by many theologians, scholars, pastors, laymen, and normal people and have been found accurate. We are to look for ourselves and compare her writings to the Bible. Thankfully our faith does not rely on the interpretations of scholars, but us prayerfully looking and studying for ourselves. Matthew 24:24. I recommend you read your bible some more before you become deceived.

24:24 "For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." "...if it were possible" The Bible doesnt say "they will be deceived." Yes, read we all need to read the Bible carefully.

Job 12:2: "2 No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you." They are the elect, and they were deceived

@@rush4hire Job 12:2 does not say anyone was deceived. Isa 33:6 "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure." Without the sure word of the bible where does YOUR wisdom and knowledge come from? Church indoctrinated teachings of course. The "elect" people are talking about is God's people in the last days. Without knowing (and understanding) what the bible actually teaches, people will be deceived.

Job 38:2 [2]Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Throughout the whole book they kept saying that Joe had offended God and that's why he was suffering. They were deceived.

​@@liftupyourtrumpet Right. Even Ellen White herself, who was God's messenger and one of the founding members of the SDA movement, was never ordained. Not even during her lifetime nor since her passing, now more than 100 years ago.

@@ThomasDickensheets I have before, brother. Everyone has sinned. If we sin then we have an Advocate with the Father, that is Jesus Christ. We are to confess our sins to the Father in prayer and repent. We can overcome our sins with the righteousness of Jesus Christ. 🤍

He mentioned doing something good to help on Sabbath is perfectly fine. Also, when we continue reading on Jesus tells us about the "work" Him and the Father does, it says... John 5:21 "For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will." That's the kind of work that only God can do. So, Jesus did not break Sabbath. Jesus ignored the man-made rules of Sabbath keeping created by the Jews and they accused Him of breaking it. There are not 2,000+ rules, only a few according to the Bible. - Exodus 20:8-11 (don't work) and Isaiah 58:13 "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a deligh, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:" Paul talks about keeping Sabbath in Hebrews 4:1-11 In regards to the commandments and Jesus- Matthew 22:35-40 a lawyer was trying to trick Jesus and He cleverly responded, which reads - Matthew 22:35 "Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Jesus says "on these two hang all the law" because 1. if we love God - then we won't worship other gods before Him. We won't use His name in vain. We won't have idols. We won't break Sabbath. And, if we 2. love our neighbors - then we won't lie to them. We won't want to kill them. We won't steal their stuff. We won't sleep with their spouses. We wont covet their things. etc Because the new covenant is that the law is written in our hearts. Meaning we obey God out of love. Jesus says Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Jesus says that "until Heaven and Earth pass" nothing shall be taken from the law. That if anyone teaches others to break any of it then they will not be in Heaven. Because the Biblical definition of sin is transgression of the law (1 John 3:4) Ten Commandments in the New Testament 1. "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve." Matt 4:10; Rev 19:10 2. "Little children keep yourself from idols." 1 John 5:21; Acts 17:29 3. "that the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed." 1 Tim 6:1 4. "the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath." Mark 2:27, 28. Heb 4:4 5. "Honor thy mother and thy father." In the last book of the Bible - Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." With all do respect, nothing you stated was correct. Half of it sounded like Richard Dawkins. And, every statement you made (that I also believed) can be addressed. Also, Artemis is Lucifer. In high Occultism esoteric doctrines Lucifer is presented as male or female. (Just a tidbit of info for you) People don't agree because God gave us a freewill to go in any direction we please. And some allow themselves try and confuse God's word. All we have to do is sit down and prayerfully study it. It doesn't contradict itself and has one doctrine from beginning to end. And God did see this and told us ahead of time. He told us many things ahead of time, even things like the way former Christians would turn... But, soon the mark of the beast (Sunday rest by law) will be enforced, and the door will begin to close. The Lord loves you so much that He died for you, He doesn't want to lose you. He is coming back to destroy sin, so that it will never distrupt the universe again. But, if we cling to sin then we will be destroyed with it, because God can not permit sin in Heaven or the new Earth anymore. Looking around at the world we see the result of sin. It's dreadful.
