Born and raised in Aurora, Oregon, brothers Zach and Grant Jenks formed the band Desember in 2018 while writing their first album ‘Chasing The Sun’. Since then they have performed all over the local Portland, Oregon area, released the ‘Chasing The Sun’ album and ventured onto Nashville, Tennessee in 2021.
The band has been doing a lot of performances and recording sessions in Nashville, Tennessee and is currently working on releasing their second album, ‘Moonlight’. They have recorded and released singles from the ‘Moonlight’ album, such tracks are; Moonlight, Deja Vu, Aurora, Waiting On My Time, The Consumer, Chasing The Dragon and Falling Down.

This is a quality Classic Metal number that sounds like it was recorded during the NWOBHM, having that raw demo feel of 1979. Repeated listenings are necessary to fully appreciate its depth. I love the lyrics, structure and lead break. A few bucks and a decent producer could make something epic out of this song, but maybe it would also lose some soul in the process - it has integrity and honesty in its rawness. My Score: Very Good 4*
