This is the type of video I LIVE for. Peak girlhood vibes 😭💕 also I’m from New York, and London, as crazy as it might sound, seems pretty similar to ny, especially when you showed the salsa dancing bc there’s always random stuff like that happening all around the city

@@charlottesmurfit Omg such a big ask because I don’t wanna miss out on anything fun, even tho that will inevitably happen because there’s so much! A touristy but fun thing I even still do with my friends sometimes is to walk the high line (starting on west 34th and 11th ave so you can end in the west village) and explore the west village which is one of my favorite neighborhoods bc of the great food and pretty streets. It’s a bit hard to recommend too much because the city is very big, but I’m a huge coffee fan and love fun drinks so some of my favorites (spanned ALL over the city) are la cabra coffee, upstate stock, Pasticceria Rocco, black fox coffee, and 9tails coffee. You can bike around Central Park and then settle down in an area you find with a nice picnic spread and if you have the time and energy, I would check out the Cloisters. Sorry this is long, and maybe it’s not that helpful, but I hope you enjoy if you check out any of these places! Also one last suggestion that’s VERY far out and might be too much for the time you have here, but something I love doing when I have off from work, is to take the LIRR from Penn station or Grand Central Madison (which is under grand central and can give you an opportunity to check out grand central, which even as someone from here, I can admit it’s beautiful), or the Hampton Jitney which is a bus to the Hamptons and walk around the downtowns (my favorite is Southampton) and check out the beach but this will be an all day or overnight thing. ANOTHER (maybe I’m getting carried away lmao) tidbit is that it’s very hot and sticky in the city sometimes, so prepare for that, and if you’re going to take any public transportation, I would actually use google maps to help you, and while I 100% prefer taking the bus, unfortunately it’s not always as reliable as the subway. It’s still great of course, that’s why a lot of people like it, but if I’m on a time crunch I will take the subway. Again, this is so long haha hope you have fun and can’t wait to watch your video if you make one 💗
