@@Matthew-m2y5v I wish I knew. I'm self publishing with Amazon KDP not as a company. What you plan to do seems to require a little bit of legal advice as well. If you plan to publish for people you need to have the payment system set up well so that Amazon does not flag the account. I hope someone with information sees this comment. My only advice would be to contact Amazon KDP again directly so you can take all precautions before getting started. All the best with this venture!

I spent a little bit of money on Amazon ads but literally got 2 sales from it. The rest were organic sales. I'm willing to try it again but with a different strategy. I just need to find a way to fund it.😅

@@megalestari2158 Thank you so much for the support. I tried appealing to get my account back but they upheld their decision. I have a video on the book which I think got me in trouble. It's the one which reference "The Notebook" movie. I didn't even think about copyright or anything at that time but you live and you learn.

@@MusicEnigma-17315 You're welcome and thank you. There are so many videos giving false hope. Amazon KDP is definitely worth trying but it's so important to set realistic expectations.

I need to work on this myself. I usually get the idea for the book and figure out the keywords after. This is not considered best practice in the KDP space. For example, some keywords I would use for the first book in this video are: early childhood education, homeschooling tools, teaching time for children, learning to tell time, classroom tools for teachers, educational books for kids, time books for kids, kindergarten, teaching aids etc.

It's the first time I'm hearing about books being rejected because they're too good. That's crazy. I'm curious to find out how many pages were in each. I'm sure you met the minimum criteria but their excuse is absurd. Maybe you can do some tweaking and try again.

@@printadventure1 well my experience has been challenging but today I am glad I didn't give up. I started in June 2022 didn't see my first $ till Oct 1 ($5.04) that Oct I made a little under $93.78, Nov $399.69, Dec $200.81, Jan 2023 $78.79, then my account was terminated on Feb 9th. It was a disaster, I pleaded & pleaded all to no avail, I kept praying & didn't lose hope, I created another account with family member's credentials, but it was really not easy, my passion & energy wasn't there. Fast forward to June 16th 2024, I decided to plea again & viola my account was reinstated on July 26th 2024 with over $700 paid in royalties. But all my top selling books were brought down, my account was even suspended again then reinstated, so far I've made almost $1k since July to Oct. At the moment I'm learning how to run profitable ads, so I can better market my books especially in this Q4. So that's basically it

@@printadventure1 We're on the same path. I have been in this for about 18 months. I have sold a total of 53 books since March of 2023. Sold 7 this month. Not bad.

Firstly, thank you so much for the support. I'm glad that the videos are encouraging you to get started. A+ Content doesn't have to be complex to be effective. Also Amazon KDP allows you to make changes so if you don't like how it looks when it goes live you can always edit it. I know this firsthand.😂 Let me know if you need help.😊

@@rashdasalman3086 Mostly using Canva. I can't afford subscriptions like Book Bolt etc. but I always try to learn something new. I've used Inkscape here and there but I always end up in Canva for my finished product.

Don't give up! I know how discouraging this journey can be...I've only sold 15 books and my most popular book is the one I almost didn't make. You just never know.🥴

@@thefinanceintel E-Books seem do well on Amazon KDP. There's a bit of troubleshooting involved in the uploading process so I haven't really dived into it yet. But I think it's worth trying. I hope it goes well for you.

They never said outrightly but I think it's because of the movie quotes. It could have been the cover as well. It's basically copyright violation but I was new and didn't read all the rules. Some people get away with this but my advice is don't take the risk.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. I literally spent $5 on Amazon Ads from which I made 1 sale and a profit of maybe $1😂. I still don't have the budget for ads but as soon as I do I will give it a try again. Never tried TH-cam ads.

@@pritimahato1297 If you see copyright material after you have successfully uploaded the book and it is live on Amazon, then that's perfectly normal. It's Amazon's way of hindering others from copying your book.
