Have a look at the picture I took of Funafuti in 1973 on Webshots "coopec100" Oceana album and the compare it with a photo taken in 2004 on Flickr (just do a Flickr search "funafuti tuvalu global warming") Can you spot the differences? (I suggest you put the photos side-by-side). I can't believe it!

I do not know, if the UN or other countries can help with transport soil, stone and other material by ship. The Dutch struggle against the see. Tuvalu should be assisted by the World to raise the ground level of their country. Tuvalu is only 26 square km.

A part of the video is from Kyoa, an island in Fiji owned by people from Vaitupu in Tuvalu. Kyoa is a vulcanic, hight island. Tuvalu have 9 atolls, average 2 meters above sea-level - at low tide!

The name of the song is "Kafai koe", it's about one of Tuvalu's isle FUNAFUTI. You have to visit there to see how beautiful it is.
