新潟市で働いていた時よく行きました。とても静かな街で、一人歩きには最適でした。（小京都は言い過ぎ）ただ主だった産業もないので、さらに寂れて行くのは避けられぬさだめでしょう。

私も相模湖公園のノスタルジックな雰囲気が好きでよく行きます。 富士スポーツランドのレトロゲームが好きでしたが閉店してしまい大変残念です。 河内屋さんの醤油ラーメンは昔ながらのあっさり醤油がお気に入りでほぼ毎回食べてます。
What a nice area to visit and to experience this lifestyle. Heck I would love to spend at least one month there

Why did the uploader describe it as a “deserted” town? Lots of people live here, shop here, etc.
I suppose due to the deserted buildings. Starting at 50:12 a whole street that looks like deserted restaurants based on the exteriors.

일본인들이 운영하는 다른시장들은 현대화가 되어 청결한데 여기는 시간이 지나도 5~60년전 모습이구나 이곳은 쿠다라스(百濟州)라하여 백제의 땅이었는데 후손들은 한국과 일본으로 나뉘어 서로 원수지간이 되었네 조상님들이 보시면 많이 슬퍼하겠네
