Ingredients:
1 cup Maida (all-purpose flour)
1/2 cup ghee
1/4 cup powdered sugar
A pinch of salt
A pinch of cardamom powder
1/4 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

Fennal Seeds
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the maida (flour), cardamom powder,fennal seeds,black sesame seeds and salt. This helps ensure an even distribution of the dry ingredients.
Add the ghee to the flour mixture and rub it in using your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. You can also use a pastry cutter or a fork for this.
Add the powdered sugar and mix well.
Make the Dough:
Roll the dough into a flat disc or rectangle (about 1/4 inch thick) on a lightly floured surface.
Using a round cutter, or a simple glass, cut out biscuit shapes. You can also shape them with your hands or use a fork to make a crisscross design.
Tips:
You can add a pinch of cardamom powder or nutmeg for a warm, aromatic flavor.
For a slightly more crisp texture, you can reduce the amount of butter slightly or increase the baking time by a minute or two.
