What a cheery video.

Ones own experience is the most valuable I think - it adds to the sum of human experience when we share it like this and if we feel we can't share it, that is utterly valid because it is ours. We own it, we can decide what to do with it, and speaking about it isn't self absorbed in my view - indeed, it can inform and help other people, I have a playlist on my own channel called "My Medical Journey" if you ever feel like checking it out. As you know, I'm sort of in HSP limbo at the moment - a cross between HSP and dystonia according to my neurologist (though I am starting to wonder if it might be myoclonic dystonia, depends if some of the spasms are actually myoclonic jerks I guess, but they probably would have worked that out by now). I've tried a lot of the tried and true treatments but to no avail (my body has been aggressively unreceptive to all of them thus far, and I'm not risking any more). All I want to know now is what it is, if they can tell me - or the reason why they can't tell me if they can't. If they can let me know what it is, what my limitations are and how those limitations will increase with time, I will be happy with that because I can plan for it. My feet are screwed as well so its either going to be an operation or injections for arthritis (my left foot is almost entirely arthritic now, my right one only marginally less so). Hope today is a good one for you, man - keep sharing when you can. :)

Mmm. I have a related experience which might conceivably be of minor interest. Once upon a time, in another life you might say, I was sat around smoking a nice collection of substances. Now, with the best will in the world...I have always been somewhat clumsy. As you may know, there are substances that can make you feel...different, shall we say, and this probably explained why I wasn't fully cognizant of what happened next. I lit the pipe, hit a boulder, it flared just as I happened to be inhaling through my nose (presumably unconsciously) and burnt ALL and I do mean ALL, every bit, of hair from both nostrils in one go. The smell? Indescribable.
