What is the secret behind the America's development
Perhaps economic freedom, plus good government planning (like the NYC grid: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commissioners%27_Plan_of_1811) when necessary.
what way America developed you have any idea?
America developed towards making a lot of beautiful buildings for "then and now" photos!
HOW DO YOU GET IT SO PRECISE?! AMAZING!
Trial and error, and patience. :)
Every time, all of works are very precise. Amazing works! Someday, please make a video of “How hard to find the exact angle to take photos for rephotography!”
Thanks! I plan to do that, good idea.
Hey everyone, thanks for watching! Comments welcome.
very cool!!! so precise!
Thanks for watching!
why only 82nd st.?
NYC Rephotographer's other videos cover other locations. Here's Park Avenue: th-cam.com/video/hv10jSsBjbU/w-d-xo.html and here's 42nd Street: th-cam.com/video/1ErxswotfGk/w-d-xo.html
Hello, TH-camrs! Thanks so much for watching my videos.
Great grandfather Jebadiah trump was in one of those buildings grifting people on this very day.
scamming ))?
I wonder about the history of 1015 Park, the four story red brick building.
Indeed. I think it is closed to the public. Background is available on Wikipedia.
Amazing!
Thanks!
Excellent job with the transitions.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's so cool. "Girlie Stage Show" to Harry Potter. But #5 is my favorite. That crazy sloping building. Time....
Ha! Here it is in 1920: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Victory_Theater#/media/File:Republic_Theater_Marquee_1920.jpg In 1937, calling a theater "Burlesque" was made illegal in NYC, so they had to use terms like "girlie."
Accomplished for your hard work to create these!
Came for the pictures. Left soon after due to awful music.
Your PC should have a volume control that can go down to zero, if you really want to watch the video.
Life, time... crazy! Well done.
Accomplished, and the music adds great depth.
Thank you, @JusticeUniversity.
really cool!!!
very cool. I wonder how much (if any) those old buildings sink over the decades?
Thank you. NYC buildings have been estimated to weigh a total of 1.68 trillion pounds and the average NYC building is estimated to sink 1-2mm per year. (Forbes) If it is average, the first building in Episode 3, built in 1880, would have sunk up to 11.3 inches since being erected. That would account for some of the impossibility in getting the rephotos perfect!
What a perfect and precise work!!! Love it! I wonder how did you find such a perfect angle to take photos!
@@NYCRephotographer That's insane! A foot of movement! Great stats.
@@AI-cc4li Thank you! I study the original photo's details and then use trial and error to get the best photo.
@@ericmetzgar4285 Insane indeed. So long as the building subsides as one solid block, without buckling or bending, I can still take a rephoto. :)
Very nice!!!
Thank you! More to come. 🏫🧱⛪🏬🏚
Hells Yeah! I love NY!
This is what I have been looking for! I can feel people living there now and then. The technical aspect to transfer the pictures is also amazing❤
Thank you, @AI-cc4li! More episodes to come.
This is so amazing on so many levels. It's really moving and fascinating to see the photos dissolve into each other... really makes me ponder the passage of time. And the photos blend together so perfectly! Looking forward to Episode 2!!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it; episode 2 in the works.
