I did a review on my channel and I thought it was closer to the MD4, however I was throwing in 19 degrees so that probably affected it. Love the feel and seems like a great disc, can't wait to throw it when it warms up here.

Stable means straight

I like your videos. They are really engaging and I was thinking that when you do these unboxing videos, every time you get a new disc, you’re allowed to use the other discs that you already unboxed as part of a bag as you go around. That way you don’t have to keep revealing discs because you pulled a driver on a 250 foot hole. You can just go back to one of the lower speed discs you’ve already pulled out of the box and that way you get to each hole you’ve got more discs to choose from and that way we can see their flight work properly for the distance that they are useful for. And also another bit of feedback is that it might be just me, but I only saw about 30% of those flights because they get lost in the background when I’m looking at it on my phone. I guess the zoom probably wasn’t enough. But thanks for your videos. I watched them all the time and they’re really cool and fun.

I’ve been back here a number of times, and the info is always very solid imo. You also are a good presenter of the info- like a teaspoon of sugar to help deliver the medicine;) I have definitely improved my swing over the last few months deploying your teaching. You should take a look at the Legacy Discs Sumo! It's a pretty ovetstable approach disc with very little glide also. I have a Berg and War Spear, and I vastly prefer the Sumo to both. It's not even close

I found a tye dye innova monarch that had that weird rim that was great for backhand turnover shots. Unfortunately I turned it over into the river RIP monarch. Good stuff as always and a happy new year to you.

I’ll add one little bit to your “reason for the off arm”. It’s also the point of anchoring the back shoulder in place as much as possible. The faster your can slow down the back shoulder, the greater the whipping effect of the lead arm (assuming you get to a good power pocket) It’s the physics of the whip. The speed of the snap at the tip is a function of the change in momentum, so you need to slow down the back of the whip as quickly as possible (after initiating the motion) in order to get the maximum velocity at the tip. Watch slow mo of Garrett Gurthie and pay close attention to his back shoulder which nearly comes to a halt after he makes his off arm move.

I'm 50. I've thrown a 450 foot shot with a RH forehand shot, downhill, skipped past the basket on a 420 foot hole. It went into some shrubs. Didn't have a good putt. Made par. So?? A far shot won't get you accuracy, but sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. 😉

Happy New Year my fellow red brother. I’ve been slanging the Trail and really like the 9 speed Gorgon. Recommend it for slower speed throwers.

I power grip with all fingers on the rim. It gets the nose down and i am able to throw harder with more snap.

I used to have the same original opinion as you and went through the same inner turmoil when I actually tried some out. And now I’ve go a couple in the bag. 😅

I agree with the weight concept. I have found for distance the 167g-171g fit my arm really well.

DNA Dd3, DNA FD, Vanguard, c-line MF MD3, Lone Howl 3, NEO Method, I got the same ugly x-out P2 but a nice exo hard logic which has been my putting putters for a bit

I’m working on some form and want to give the “carry the briefcase” a shot. I’m worried I won’t be able to get my wrist back to a clean release at hit point. I also do not want to “turn the key” due to fear of turning over too much. To find consistency what are you thinking about during your throw? I know that’s a loaded question, but just curious your thoughts. Currently I’m doing a pour the coffee from the beginning to end of my throw. Flight plate facing outwards. Briefcase reach back is complete opposite (flight plate towards body). I’ve heard this will also help with keeping elbow out.
