Maybe my Bowman SB was a better bottle?? but in my blind the Bowman BLEW AWAY Buffalo Trace....not very close !!
@@patrickyb8840 My Bowman SB was better as well but then there are always factors like how long each bottle has been open and individual taste / palate preferences. The Bowman SB is the real deal and I’m going to blind it against EHT Small batch - both being 100 proof
@@jeffofalltrades3567 Good plan. My palate is now changing a bit away from Buffalo Trace and more towards Brown Foreman. I'm sure as time goes by, it will evolve again. Cheers.
@@patrickyb8840 You are 100% right!! Just like I have found with me, our palates are ever changing and evolving!! I used to love BT and it was my favorite but I have since expanded well beyond it. Will I come back to it and drink it, of course and it’s good. But there’s so much more out there. Cheers!!
G4 is a great tequila! Tequila Ocho is also great. Great review and video. Cheers🥃

In my market, the Winter Reserve can be found for $19.99.....the Legent, $49.99. There is that.
@@fredc.meekinsjr.5553 Great price on the Winter Reserve, not so much on the Legent! Cheers!!
I'm sold.

do you know the distiller? how did you get them to send you bourbon - based on you reviewing them? interesting I've been sucking up to a very famous cigar brand for months and they just ignore me haha!
@@WoRLDs_CoLLiDiNG The executive bourbon steward of one distillery sent me a few extra samples to review. Nothing I asked for. But Very cool.
@@WoRLDs_CoLLiDiNG he also sent me and other bourbon creators samples from his distillery to review since he wanted honest reviews
good luck with this! I can't stop drinking Russells 10...
@@WoRLDs_CoLLiDiNG Thanks! Me too!!
I have an old Forrester 1920 that’s a bit too fiery for my new bourbon palate so I think Old Fashioned is the way to go.
@@sooner1125 An Old Fashioned will further sweeten up the base bourbon plus you can choose the bourbon you like best to make it. Use a lower proof bourbon if better for you - cheers!!
Just opened my widow Jane 10 year. Fantastic, but a little steep at $70 off the shelf
@@sooner1125 Had it once but want to try again. That’s actually the price I see here in NJ as well
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
@@Малоушкина I haven’t a clue what you are talking about. Sorry.
@@jeffofalltrades3567 This dude.. I think he was watching someone else reviewing bathtub vodka having no idea of the kind of dessert menu you were offering up. I was able to find some Eagle Rare in a deal with a store pick Heaven’s Door. Haven’t pull the cork on either yet because haven’t had the opportunity. Been hunting mostly in Houston and the outlying suburbs when I’m in the area. Been enjoying Weller special reserve a good deal and some others. The barrel proof whiskeys I have a few of. Larceny, Elijah Craig, and several others. My palate is nowhere near as mature as yours and probably need to stand down some but I do find the wheated bourbons to be my favorite. Walked past a Weller special something or other at the downtown Spec’s that was listed for $7500.00 and snickered. It was right next to the MacCallan for $85,000.00 and a Balvenie for $135,000.00. Only in Houston would they offer such. At any rate, awesome deep dive. Thanks for the generous reviews
@@k.waynerennicks2590 Thank you for your kind words and comments! Where I am in New Jersey is so hard to find good highly sought after bottles at MSRP or close. Was lucky this one time to get this ER at above MSRP but not crazy above MSRP. Love the EC and Larceny Barrel Proofs as well!! Cheers!!

You can get Bulleit Rye for less than $30, and it’s better.
Buffalo trace in Buffalo, NY was $40. Definitely will be shopping around. $32 is a steal for sure
@@bobt9361 yes today $32 is a good price
I appreciate you discussing prices - I had a friend grab me a Buffalo Trace in NY last month for $40 and I thought that was a decent price so $32 is def a steal!

Sipping the winter is goodl and very approachable. The 7 is better in cocktails because it seems to push flavors through where the Wibters flavors are muted by most mixers.
@@nickmerkerson5401 that’s a good analysis!!! I do like the Winter as a nice easy tasty sipper!
I must get another bottle, it’s pretty good for $27.00 bucks
@@mariojohnson4695 it a nice easy low proof sipper for the price!!
I've heard most people feel the best thing going for this is the tie to the celebrity band, especially at the higher price point... Cheers 🥃
@@Fireside_bourbon Yes exactly. The whiskey itself in this bottle I found just so so. Nothing great. I will revisit as I always do but at this point it’s a great story behind the whiskey but I would not buy again.
great video Jeff - keep it up!

Great stuff and only $50 in michigan 👍😉
@@thomasanderson2870 Nice!! Yeah the 1792 FP here ranges from $45-$49 generally. Need to get another store pick plus try the BIB. Cheers!!!

Eagle Rare here in CT is from 42.99-49.99, had to grab 4 to stock up on! :D Haven't tried the Russels yet, however i am not a fan of Wild Turkey 101.
@@jonathanscoggins5868 That’s a good price these days. Used one $39 by me in NJ but since then I’ve seen it for $99 and up. Had to get thjs for around $60 because I wanted to have it and was cheapest I saw it in a while. I like it better than RR
You move a little too fast and even if I pause, the picture is blurry.
Have to remember that the Anniversary has older whiskey in it as well. Some say 8-9 year juice. So if that’s true then a year older and less proof wouldn’t be to hard to pick out in a blind. Which you proved here. It’s unfortunate that more of the Anniversary Edition wasn’t distributed I was under the impression that it was to be widely available and that so far isn’t the case. It finally dropped this last Saturday and the store by me only had a case of it so needless to say many only saw pictures of it on websites. But that’s how it goes sometimes in the whiskey world. 🥃🥃🥃
I actually just picked up another bottle of the 1792 Single Barrel, i CANNOT get enough of it!! So Delicious!!! :)
@@jonathanscoggins5868 I have to try that one but this was a store pick so it was a full proof single barrel and I loved it! Wish I saw the sweet wheat around

Found a 136.4 proof bottle sitting on a shelf in Rochester on a recent trip. After opening up the palette, it drinks like maple syrup, rich and full flavored. Picked up a bottle of this from the Manalapan location the other day, along with the last bottle of their Four Roses OESK Single Barrel. Excited to crack them open. Total Wine over in Eatontown has a store pick of the Single Barrel Rye as well but only around 131 proof unfortunately

Was able to get two bottles of EHT small batch and three EHT single barrels for about $400 total. I finished off one of the single barrels and but haven’t popped the small batch yet. It was amazing and the best bourbon I’ve ever had. I didn’t realize how rare a find it was until I was halfway through the bottle and will probably never find another set for the price 😢
@@jordandowland7256 $400 for all that is great - especially since we are talking about EHT!!! I’ve had the small batch but never the Single Barrel. But I have heard the same thing about the single barrel, and I feel the Small Batch is amazing.
