@christinaFaith84- I am so sorry to hear you were homeless, and I am glad you were able to stay in a hotel. I agree that many hotels spot clean. The staff at New York New York were very kind, and when the housekeeping staff came and saw the room, she told us she was going to clean everything again including stripping the sheets off the bed and putting new ones on again.

@BlueAce1914- It is a small buffet which was a bit surprising to me.

@BlueAce1914- I did not see it pre-pandemic, so I didn't have anything to compare to before. But, I noticed it was smaller than the other MGM Buffets. I keep thinking eventually they will get rid of all the buffets and turn them into food halls.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that! I truly think the buffets there are hit or miss. When we ate there, it was pretty good. But, we have also eaten at Luxor Buffet, and one time it was good and the next time terrible. It really is sad because you just never know what you will get once you are there or whether it will be worth the money.

@sharkparty1027. I know all restaurants can have good and bad days, but we definitely did not think the Bellagio Buffet was worth that price, even with the BOGO. We have eaten at Luxor a few times, and one time, it was good, and the next time, it was awful. When we tried MGM Grand's Buffet, we had a good experience, but I honestly think our favorite was Excalibur's. I hope whichever Buffet you choose, it will be great when you go!

@CheckitoutVegas-hn2xc thank you so much for the reply. We'll try the Bellagio, even though everyone says it isn't worth it, just for the desserts and variety of food. But we will pick the Excalibur as suggested. Thank you.

@sharkyparty1027. No. Unfortunately the MGM Grand Buffet does not have a crepe station.

When we ate there, it really was good. We have eaten at other buffets at MGM properties that we did not give a good review. So, I am sorry you had a bad experience, but our experience there really was good.

@jamminj8822 I agree! It is a very busy place. This video was taken around 9-930 in the morning, and it was already packed.

@trbarton743 The Miracle Mile Shops are adding a lot of restaurants, and that area will be called Miracle Eats, I believe. One of the cheapest stores I have bought shirts, hats, and souvenirs is the stores that say either Welcome to Las Vegas gift shop or Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. Those stores have the iconic Las Vegas sign on them. They have those stores all over the Strip. Two are inside the Miracle Mile. Also inside Miracle Mile Shops is a store called Viva Vegas, and they usually have ball caps really cheap. I hope you have a very Happy Birthday and an amazing time when you visit later this week!!

@eololol I don't think there is a discount for just staying at Mandalay, but I did see on the MGM website (for Mandalay Bay) offers for 20% off on their tickets under the "offers" section. I am not sure if that is exclusively for MGM Rewards members or available to anyone.

@kleptodathief3946 - We did not have to pay anything extra for the toppings of cheese or sauerkraut because that is what came with the Reuben. The pickle was also free. It was just extra if we wanted chips or a drink.

But, I will say that the Greenbergs Reuben doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes just because that is not what is usually on Reuben. I would assume some of the other sandwiches they have there would come with lettuce and tomatoes and would not be extra.

@travelmanMN- I personally would take a bus or Uber, because it is a lot of walking with the free tram or monorail to get you to that area. If you take the free tram, you would need to take the tram from Luxor to Excalibur, walk across to Park MGM and get on that free tram (which is at the very back of Park MGM), take that to the Bellagio, and from there it is over a 2 mile walk to Resorts World. If you use the paid monorail, you would take the free tram to Excalibur, walk across the street to MGM Grand, take the monorail there ( at the very back of MGM Grand) to Las Vegas Convention Center, and then it is about a 1.3 mile walk from there to Resorts World.

@user-pb9fj4mo8n - Thank you for watching our video! I agree with you that this room is a lower budget room. However, I will say that we have stayed at other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, in resort rooms that were much smaller than this one.

@Hgood1- Thank you so much for watching our video! You make a really good point. The room has no Egyptian decor, paintings, or design. That would be great if they added some of those things to give customers a feel of Egypt.

Dont hold your breath... they spent a lot of money toning down the theming. As for the rooms, they did a 2 phase refresh, rooms either got reclaimed furniture from mandalay bay, or from Belagio
