@@ericville I have Loved Beef Patties since I was a kid growing up in Toronto, anywhere I saw a Patty, either in a convenience store or little cafe ,I had to get one! Lol..Little that I know, back in the 80's we were eating Patty King or Michidean. Than in 1991 Tinnels came into the picture, very similar to Patty King, but nowadays these frozen patties come with hardly any filling inside! Randys just opened again, and they are really good, but the line ups are crazy man! Kingston 12 these days are making a good patty also! Patty Time are not bad either, but sometimes the filling has too many chucks in it!

@@jcmproductions33 their locations are tough to reach but I think they opened one in Scarborough town centre so I will hit that one for you soon. I’ve been advised that they use Patty king or some other commercial brand that isn’t great but I’ll confirm before making any judgements

It was made 100% from scratch there was not many massed produced patties back then, if any. Google “Toronto beef patty wars”. It was a thing in the 80’s. Tell me what you think.

@@kleptodathief3946 michdeans are my favourite so I can’t really give an unbiased answer. Patty time is very different from them where the crust is super thin. It’s so thin I don’t know how it holds in all the meat pause and there is a very good amount of meat. It just has this flavour in the seasoning that I don’t like as much. I think(not sure) it’s a Jamaican flavour that people from the Caribbean would really enjoy. But since I have a more North American palette I think that michdean has the best flavour. Not too unique like patty time but not too bland either like patty king

@@mikeap1987 wasn’t bad bro. Quality was good but for $18 I was expecting something special that you couldn’t find anywhere else. It just tasted like a regular chicken banh mi.

@@mikeap1987 I agree, this one was kinda gross since their sauces were not a good match with this type of food. It was like a pile of mess that a stoner would make. Flaming stove uses a lot of sauce too but everything about them was amazing.

The beef saj wrap from yaseen is the closest you’ll get to Alpha’s without having to go downtown. Just make sure you tell them what you want inside it. And don’t get any of their special sauces, they’re all weird. Just stick with garlic and tahini

No words can describe how much I hate that old guy and that trash azz place. Their food is garbage and the line takes forever because that old (expletive) would rather talk with customers than serve them food. Someone already sh*t on me for saying it’s not a shawarma because it’s not a shawarma; it’s a chicken pita. Please disregard this reply if ownership has changed. I haven’t been there since 2017
