Nope, Paul actually said in an interview (I am sure kidding) that he married Linda just to be Heather's dad. And what a bunch of great kids Linda and Paul brought up. Only during Paul's bust in Japan were they separated in 29 years.

How I wish I had a mother like Linda. My mother never encourages me, hugs or cuddles me....she speaks to me as if she barely tolerates me.

I can't think of two ppl who seemed to thoroughly enjoy one another from beginning to end more than Paul and Linda. Paul hasn't seemed the same since.
