Why have only one dog? I have several dogs and I find that it’s even an advantage to have more than just one dog as they keep the house safe by guarding the house and any stranger who even listens in or peeks into my home, would realize by both the sight and sound that somebody’s home.

I have two dogs, they keep each other company 😅

Pmsl. Have you ever met or lived with one of these breeds?😂 Advice. Get a mastiff. Gentle, loyal, don't need a lot of maintenance, great with all ages.🎉

I leave a piece of my clothing with him while I go out. Since doing that I have lost a few pieces of clothing , to get them back I wait for him to leave that area , it's my chance to grab them back.. 😊

Yeah great these dogs don’t bark. Not the best reason to get them. You really need to investigate these dogs. Basengees? are little killers. They can be vicious dogs if not trained correctly. Yeah who does that? They are smart and YOU need to be an experienced dog person to have one of these. Oh did I mention they run off? Very fast? Number two is the Shiba Inu. Basically the Japanese version of the basengee? A friend’s wife was none to amused when a cat came in the back yard and their two shibas shredded it. They like to take off also These two dogs should not be acquired just because they don’t bark The bulldog? Better know what you’re doing there too. Hate it when they use some stupid metric that doesn’t really describe the breed

Very big dog lover and puppy lover Since I was 5 years old because that is when I started becoming a dog lover and puppy lover ❤❣️💌💟💝💖💗💓🩷💜💚🧡💛🩵💙💕💞🐕🦴 and also growing up I was not allowed have a dog until I was 23 years old and my younger brother Patrick was 21 years old because my mom is scared of dogs and also my younger brother Patrick and I got a black Labrador retriever pitbull mix named Maggie from the Oregon humane society back on June 22nd 2013 she was 9 years old we had her for 5 wonderful years until August 20th 2018 when she passed away from cancer she was 14 years old 😢💔 She was our first dog ever and also my mom did go to with me and also she did tolerate the dog shows for me but she really! Didn't want to be at the dog shows at all but she also did it for me because she loves me so very much and I also love her so very much as well

I have experience from only 2 breeds. My first dog was a golden retriver. My second dog was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Both were well behaved and well trained dogs. The retriver was hard to get house broke. He also chased wild animals as a young dog. When fully trained he was completely reliable around other animals. After he got mature and trained I no longer brought the leash when goin out. I even left him outside of department stors etc. and I could absolutely trust him to still be there when I came out again. He was absolutely easy to get to a high level of training. The ridgeback was a breeze to get house broke. I think he had 3 accidents inside before he understood that he should do he's business outsie. After that he came and put he's little nose up at the side of our bed and huffed and puffed until we woke up and took him outside. He never showed any interest for wild animals what so ever so it was no problem to have him off leash in the wild. I did however not keep him off leash among people as some people might be afraid of a dog like the ridgeback. When it came to just obediance it would however not have been a problem at all. They could not know that he was the sweetest dog ever and a pacifist who did not even defend him self when attacked. Much softer than the retriver. Both dogs were easy to train in their own way. The retriver was more eager to please but the ridgeback understood much quicker. We just had to overcome the much stronger will of the ridgeback.

My childhood friend Courtney she has 2 dogs that have a copper allergy which means she can't give them baths inside so my two questions are what should they do if it is too cold outside to give them a bath outside? Is copper only in water?

My first piece of advice would be make sure that your ready for the commitment and dedication and the responsibility that it takes to take care of a dog or a puppy from a breeder or a shelter if you want to adopt from a breeder and make sure that you do a lot of research on the breeder and also make sure you do a lot of research on the breed that you wanted play you want to have in your family and also when it comes to the breeder make sure you ask them a lot of questions so you don't get a puppy that has big medical problems and also when adopted from a shelter you want to do the same thing again make sure you do a lot of research on the breed of dog that you want to get and also make sure that the breed that you want to get will be the right fit for your family and also like the breeder make sure you have the shelter as many questions as they can answer for you and also make sure you see as many dogs as possible because a lot of Senior dogs get overlooked way too much in my opinion And also from experience from owning a senior dog even though they have a short lifespan you can still make as many memories as possible with them I really! Hope that this advice will help people looking to adopt Puppies or dogs in general 😃

You overlooked one of the best companion cold-adapted dogs: the Norwegian Elkhound. Very family oriented and adapted for the coldest climates, generally very healthy, active and adaptable, and in my experience at home wherever their people are. Mine have been dedicated companions to elderly family members as well as more active, as happy at the hearth as in the snow. Further, they are bred to hunt moose and herd reindeer, and in the forty years I've had the breed there hasn't been a single moose attack or reindeer stampede in the whole state of Georgia.
