Came here to see how to remove the horizontal poles never got a good answer, but we finally figured it out! The tarp kind of gets baked onto the poles and sticks, so first we had to use our fingers and later a longer stick to (gently) release the tarp away from the pole. This was a two man job for us. Once the tarp is rotating freely around a couple of the adjacent poles were were able to pull and wiggle the joint free. The rest followed suit. Good luck!!

First I over lifted the 5 times 14 foot slab with 3 hydraulic jacks, then lined the low side with bricks, pounding the bricks into place, then I used spray foam not the holes I drilled. Took me two hours.

Hi I stalled these very gutter guards in the Fall. I removed them as soon as I could in the Spring. Too “white” and visible, detracting from my home’s curb side appeal. Cheers

TAKES FOREVER. I got impatient and saw that some people used a torch. That works much faster but wasn't working for my application so I went back to trying the heat gun. Patience is the key.

STOP TOUCHING THE TURTLES!! And for god’s sake DO NOT feed them bananas. Stop being ignorant. Not only does touching turtles cause them stress, but the bacteria on your hands can actually be harmful to turtles. Not to mention, it’s illegal to touch or harass a sea turtle in a lot of places!

Let’s hope that strong winds will not blow them off the gutters…

First off I am not a arm chair expert I am a retired concrete mason of forty years and you sir are a backyard hack lift the slab and push the gravel under it you just have to be smarter than the concrete

The smart way is to get gravel under the slab so as not to create a void in the middle of the slab where it can and will crack

Try using construction grout to fill in the voids next time. If you fill In your hole from the jack and leave a small opening to pour construction grout through, it’ll fill the whole void and self level itself under the slab. Then you don’t have to worry about settling and critters digging at it and using it for nests,
