Where is that track located?
Cool but the music no
You are so right (;. I did this clip on the go.
That f7 is messed up
Nice 👍👍😁😁
When I went there yesterday I couldn’t find it. Is it in the museum or scrapped?
What running boards are those?
They look like go rhino running boards to me.
That turntable is sick! Awesome piece of history!
That turntable's kind of unique, being powered by a reciprocating steam engine (running on air) acting on the outside ring.
Thanks for sharing this video sir! Those were my friends.
It was fun watching them. Looks like a cool group of people
We're planning to camp here , any suggestion on the nice camp site?
Looks like all sites have plenty of space. Unfortunately I can't remember the number of our site. Sorry
It's cool how they opened up the outer shell of the engine, so that you can see the internal components.
When was this done?
March 2018
@@thefamilyfun2023 Thanks!
What course was this?
Hey Jay. That was at Prairie City SVRA in California.
Awesome drone shots
So very cool 😎 to these trains in action 😀
It’s an f unit
I can tell you've enjoyed yourself. Happy for you P Kudos on the video edit and all the work that went into it I just bought a 2017 rebel. Hopefully I get to enjoy it as much as you!!
Thank you! You should enjoy it. Love this truck
It's not broken it only last 15 to 20 Mins
Overheat after 5min drive.
Did u charge it all the way
It takes 4 hours and 15 mins
@@thebigman6849 I own the DeWalt power tools I had four full batteries. Not only that in the first minute my younger son hit a tree on the front right wheel since that moment it pretty much lost steering. I guess that's what you get for such a cheap and large RC truck. We ended up buying Traxxas Maxx obviously this is a real RC truck. After spending money on cheap cars we decided that it's time to put in the money on something that will last
Try not to get it wet in the inside
Are you still selling the leveling links?
Yes www.shapeways.com/shops/ram-stuff
I also have the Mojave Sand edition so you had no issues with stock wheels and 35s? All you did was add a leveling link?
This was a badass video!!!!!
Thank you. Got some more clips on this channel and more to come. Feel free to subscribe
Great video Lars
Bro,you live in sacramento?
Yes I do
@@thefamilyfun2023 nice,me too. help can take some overlanding with you
so cool, man. I got the 2018 ram 1500 rebel as well. Look you are near north California? By the way you are the 3D print leveling link funder?
Yup. That's me 😁
@@thefamilyfun2023 nice. Im uesd you leveling with BDs 4inlift. works perfect
What size tires and wheels are those?
315x12.5x17
How have these held up over time? Any issues or air suspension trouble signals on dash? Are you still able to use the OR1 and OR2 functions after installing? I can’t decide if I should give these a shot and throw them in as I mainly want a slight height boost to accommodate bigger tires and achieve a leveled look. In a perfect world I’d be able to get a slight boost from these to accept slightly bigger than stock tires ( haven’t made a decision on taller/wider or both yet) while still being able to get an extra lift from both off-road functions should the need arise but I’m not sure if that’s beyond the stock airbags limit and ride-ability
Still going strong. Never had issues. I only have 1 off road option.
Mike Bit thanks for the response. So what height do the links have you sitting at and how high does the one off road function get you? I think I’m about to place an order; I tried to see if Kelderman made an option that fit what I’m looking for but, they’re more geared towards 2500 bodies and up. I’m passed the bumper to bumper mileage on my warranty so I’m not concerned about voiding anything I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to hurt anything either. Thanks again.
How high is your level? Are you on OR1 or OR2 or Normal ride height in the video?
Hi,. I have only 1 off road option. It is 2017. Lifts the front about 2"
I’m 17 and I don’t wanna fuck the rebel up. Just don’t know how much water is safe to go through, I see it as if it’s below 3/4 on ur wheel go though it slowly and don’t let off the gas. Hope I’m correct. Anyone else have a recommendation?
You still running level links ? Did you add anything else to the front suspension?
Yes still with my links. Added Daystar spacers on the front.
I would not trust safety and reliability of a mechanical part that is typically metal to what I would assume is ABS plastic. Cause if whoever made that used PLA, or PET, then big mistake. In any case, no matter the plastic used, a 3d printed plastic part in a vehicle is probably not a good idea. There's a list of the parts you can buy which are metal, and put this together for under $40. www.ramrebel.org/threads/air-suspension-link-mod.1802/page-3
It is actually nylon. Stock links Are nylon. In the last 3 years they look and feel as day 1. However I need to update my video since the links are not made on a home printer anymore. They are professionally made using sintering 3d printer.
Wonder what it pays to grind the rust and prime and assemble?
Glad it's being restored
Does anyone else think the 6402 looks just like Wilson from chuggington Disney tv show?
That’s a southern pacific EMD F7A
I use to go on the little steam train rides when I was a kid. Now they got cheap or lazy and stared using a little pooter putter like the one you see here. Yeah😒😒😒
Had been working in the area years ago , a must see .. THIS is a magical place ! Just walking through the front door sets the stage . Walking through a Pullman to walking UNDER an engine ! Well done !
all of a sudden this video is recommended to me. I'm not dissapointed
uma locomotiva tão pequena puxando uma tão grande realmente tamanho não é documento kkk
the cut away loco reminded me of WDM 1 locomotive of Indian Railways that was put into service in late 60s here in India. The model or shell was almost as the cut away loco shown here.
I see F units everyday .Used on Ontario Southland Railway. Ingersoll On Canada. Search Railpast video s
I love old trains and watching videos of them, but my favorite part of this video was the voices of the little kids. Their wonderment and questions remind me of when my kids were younger... Now I'm patiently waiting for grandkids so I can enjoy it all over again.
What does the word Sacramento mean? .
Sacramento is the name of the capital city of California , it got the name from the Sacramento River. Here's a small paragraph from Wikipedia: Sacramento was named after theSacramento River, which forms its western border. The river was named by Spanish cavalry officer Gabriel Moraga for the Santisimo Sacramento (Most Holy Sacrament), referring to the Catholic Eucharist.
1% of the comments (actually talking about the locomotive being taken out) The other 99% “look at that lil switcher go!”
Not true
The diesel locomotive came from Australia and we made them
eh, you sure?
Hm.
AMTK350 yes I’m sure
Number 2 was always fun to operate.
Whoa! When did they repaint the Klamath Northern # 206?
Was the locomotive being restored or is it like that for display purposes?
I was also thinking that to
The brown paint looks like primer to me. I am guessing restoration in process.
Athearn makes a great HO scale model of many trains which have sound and smoke and run like a swiss watch
I remember when Athern locos had rubber band drives from the motor shaft to the trucks. Under $5.00 for a switcher similar to this little black one. My gear driven AT⁷SF f7 was was just $12.00, new It was Athern who kept the other companies in line with their low competitive prices and quality trains. All, made in the USA at the time, in Hawthorn, CA., near the toy giant, Mattel.
With the early Athern, another great name in the HO industry was Varney.
I cant believe they allow this in California!
That's a great museum. My Grandpa's engine is in the museum in Portola California. Western Pacific.
Which engine?
