    damn nice catch, basically you have pwm signal which controls pump. if pump is not getting signal pwm it goes into ok lets go max speed so what heated part aka engine would not over heat. self primed no it doesnt know what it has no water, it simply has time delay it should start imediatly ussually, self primed means either it has bearing which alsready has lube, or it may be like in pc world magnetic levitation bearing, fluid bearing, or it using liquid to lubricate there is many options. but they are all physical, not invloved with electronics, also it may have temp sensor, rpm sensor inside. pwm controls it how much fast it must spin, if it heats too much it says go go go, by temp sensr outside lets say

    • @maxsinventions8913
      @maxsinventions8913 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the pump does know when it's not pumping water, it will stop and keep doing a check over and over again. Will not overheat itself. It's been a min but i think it turns off after awhile of no water flow. There is a computer on this motor since it is a brushless, it needs to have a simple computer to calculate load and timing of the 3 phase motor.

    Hey there, I'm wondering what speaker's you're using there in the dash! I'm looking for a set myself that will properly fit in the dash without having to modify the grille. I've read a lot of the speakers's tweeters on Crutchfield stick out too much for them to fit nicely.

    • @maxsinventions8913

      Hi, These are the fronts: www.crutchfield.com/p_107DB402/Polk-Audio-DB-402.html?omnews=16788651 But you have to use a bass blocker or you could blow them apart: www.crutchfield.com/p_007BB150/Crutchfield-Bass-Blockers-150-Hz-cut-off.html?omnews=16788651 Then you can get a slim 8" sub, like the Rockville SS8P. I put mine behind the seat on the ground and used the stock wire harness under the seat for the signal. FYI for the Polk speakers the fit well but you have to make a small bridge shim so that it can connect to more than one hole in on the chassis like you can screw one screw in but the edges are a bit small so make something to bridge the gap.

      @@maxsinventions8913 Thanks a ton for all that info! Unfortunately my AW11 doesn't have a subwoofer at all so I've been looking to get a OEM factory subwoofer box and aftermarket subwoofer speaker to mount under the seat. I suppose the wiring harness for the sub isn't there at all so I'm gonna have to get that wired up somehow, if you have any tips on that please let me know! Right now I'm not even using an aftermarket amplifier so I'm gonna go shopping for that too!

  • @ianh9696
    @ianh9696 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I'm not knocking Seafoam as I have some in my engine now. If the original oil was black when you changed it the new oil would have gone black almost immediately without the Seafoam. The engine would have lots of black sludge in it turning the new oil black straight away after first starting it up. You need to flush the engine with cheap oil until it comes out clean then add the good oil and Seafoam. When I do mine I put half of a 4 litre (approx. 4 quarts) bottle of oil in then run the engine for about 10 minutes with the occasional throttle blip. Drain, put the other half in and repeat. Change the filter and then add the good oil. Then if you want then add the Seafoam. Hope this helps.

    Wanted to let you know that if you delete the A/C you can use the compressor backets furthest in top bolt hole for a knock sensor. Got one from a B18 Honda/Acura engine and rethreaded the hole to install it. I imagine you are running a standalone ECU, it would be wise to, you'll have the option for a knock sensor. You're gonna want one with boost. Even if you lower compression like some people do. Amp EFI now makes Megasquirt ECUs. You can get a gen 2 plug and play ECU from DIY autotune. 900 bucks. Send them your ECU and they will swap your connectors to the new ECU. Super easy. Has an options port for a ton of other stuff too like a wideband etc. Our AW11s only have one clutch switch, which is all the way at the bottom. Do not use the clutch switch for launch control or other fun stuff. There is a green/white wire at the cruise control computer that is grounded when you pull the cruise stock back. The cruise module is up and to the elft of your ECU in the trunk. I am doing this as it is simple and a monetary switch and you can also still hold the wheel. Good luck with the build!

    Hey Max my ti30 that I got for $900 about 2 months ago doesn't completely turn off, but at about 56v it will not go over 30kmh (18mph) and the throttle will cutoff until you start going slower. They said this is built in to protect the battery, but it seems weird to just literally cut the throttle off and on what seems like out of nowhere when you are riding it. Is this normal, like does yours do this? And can it be changed? I lowered the voltage cutoff in the P settings, and that doesn't seem to make a difference.

    • @maxsinventions8913
      @maxsinventions8913 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically it is a battery protecting feature. But technically under load you can go as low as 48 volts, so I don't know why they have it cut off at 56 volts. It seems like yours is a little bit more advanced than the ones I've seen. They just cut off and then you're out of luck. For my research there's no real way to change it except for going into the controller and finding the low voltage cut off resistor and replacing it with something else. I have not dove in to that yet because my scooter's fine and doesn't do any this but my friends scooters do this and they don't want me to take their scooter apart yet because they work.

      Yeah I found out that once it gets to 56v, I just don't go over 18mph and it's fine. I got over 45 miles on a single charge yesterday by keeping it under 20mph. And if you want to go really fast you just need to charge it when it gets to 56v. Plus I can change the default cutoff voltage from 52v if I really wanted to stretch it out, but I don't see the need. Now that I know that it's not a defect, I couldn't be happier with this thing. Laotie really should do a better of job of documenting this in the manual or something. I'm sure many ppl who see this think there's something wrong with it, like I did. Thanks for the info!
