We love the outdoors. Spending time as a family in nature has been a blessing in our lives. With this TH-cam channel we plan to share what we learn and our various outdoor adventures with you.
Snowman and Slide Adventure
We LOVE snow, and we don't get any snow in Oklahoma so we made the most if it when visiting family in Utah. Their is something magical about snow... we hope you get a chance to enjoy it too!

Painting Pumpkins

This is a family first for us. Every October we carve pumpkins, but not this year! I wanted to try something new, and I'm glad we did. The kids LOVED painting pumpkins! But Jim and I didn't love it as much. It is very messy (yes, messier than carving pumpkins) and sadly it ruined some of our clothes. Over all, I'm glad we did it, but I think we'll stick to carving till these little ones are old...
Family Survivor Competition

Our First Chuck E. Cheese Adventure

Harmony turned 5 this month! She requested games and doughnuts, so that's what we did. We haven't taken the kids to Chuck E. Cheese so we figured we'd give it a try. Going on a week day night made it worth it! We had the whole arcade to ourselves. It was a blast.
How to Make Graham Cracker Houses

This was an easy and inexpensive way to decorate a "gingerbread house" with the family (AKA graham cracker houses). We had so much fun together. Not only did we decorate some awesome houses but we made some fun memories :)

1 Million bats!

We visited Austin, Texas and went to Congress Bridge to see the largest bat colony in North America. Once the sun set the action began, it was crazy how many bats lived there. The kids had their own interpretation of what was happening, I sure love their stories :)

Jim decided to shave his "yeard" (beard grown for a year). All of the kids reaction was adorable. Reed has never seen Jim without facial hair and seeing him was priceless.

Our fun loving boy turned 1 this month and had such a fun time. He is full of energy and just wants to play. Right after he turned 1 he began walking and it is absolutely adorable. When my wife died the kids helped me get out of my sadness. They are so innocent and sweet. If humans turn this way this world will be blessed. Yes I am wishing for something from adults that is never to be expected. We have undergone huge psychological distortions yet we don't see ourselves that way. Yet we say we grew up.
