TV Workshop - Writing to pictures and recording commentary
This is a news report from the BBC showing how to write voice over but whereever possible using the natural sound recorded at the time.
]\You can try the voice over yourself.
Print the script with the numbers and then read it against the story, noting where the actuality sound comes in.
1. This was the fury unleashed in Kyrgyzstan today.
2. The centre of the Kyrgyz capital a battleground between the opposition and the police.
3. There was chaos on the streets, crowds on the rampage.
4. The police tried to drive them back,
5. but the crowds wren't intimidated, even the beatings couldn't stop them.
6. But today they were fighting, the reason, recent elections that the Government tried to manipulate.
7. The day began with a gathering of ten thousand supporters. They blamed the government for poverty and corruption.
8. Kyrgyzstan is more democratic than its neighbours, but the belief the President tried to rig the elections was the final straw.
9. It's unclear what triggered today's violence.
The tension that has built up over weeks in this tiny country, boiled over.
10. The police, battered and bruised, just gave in,
11. and the crowds stormed the building they called the White House.
It houses Kyrgyzstan's government, its where the President and his cabinet work.
12. Inside, everyone had fled, the government's collapse was swift.
13. So the opposition broke into the President's office, and savouring its triumph, mocked him.
14. President Akayev had vanished, his family had fled the country.
15. The opposition has now moved to take control, vowing to restore order and hold new elections.
16. The disputed poll has already been annulled by the supreme court.
17. But this evening it's unclear who's really in charge following Kyrgyzstan's stunning political collapse and whether there are more upheavals in store.

A friend of my Dad and myself on different dates in the same year spotted a large black Cat/Panther? North Petherton and Bridgwater-3 miles apart in Somerset, around 25 years ago now,i havnt told many people as never expected to be believed,i still feel blessed for what i saw crossing a field, the tail gave it away,it was the size of a large Alsashion Dog,i was standing up on my bike/peddles looking over a hedgerow when i spotted it,awesome creature.
Sadistic knob heads!
I believe it. In 2002 I lived on the border of Wilshire and Gloucestershire and would take my dogs for marathon walks in the vast ciuntryside. In a remote field i found two decomposed (dried out) deer legs in an elderberry tree that was growing against an old stone wall. Then another time i saw a dead sheep by a wall in a field with what i first thought were bullet holes in the swollen and bruised head but as i looked i thought those holes are from an animals fangs, the whole rear left leg was severed from the body almost like a cleaver had done it, literally torn off. because it was so clean and there was no mess and no blood. . Another time in 2010 i found a deer carcass on the same bridle path that i rode on and all that was left were the ribs, spine, head and hide. When i told someone on my way home, they said they had seen a deer carcass about 8 months before near a quarry in Wiltshire. As someone who has had dogs, sheep and horses, i have always wondered if there is the odd big cat out there...
They need dci Barnaby 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
All honor to our British cousins. 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
Lynne Gateshead, could you imagine how awful it would of been for a mother seeing her young daughter suffering that misery of auswitch. Awful
England and Birmingham were great , wonderful people , proud people, strong , I was one
The religion of peace destroys everything.
Lynne Davison Gateshead, a watched a lot of kitty's story and how her and her mother survived that was a miracle really she was very fit and her mother could speak German which was a advantage. God bless them all surviving those monsters called SS hope their is no more horror like that in this world. Never forgotten by me. Love to the Jewish people from lynne
Kitty is amazing. So many videos
Never forget Imjin...never forget GLOUCESTER HILL!! respect from the U.S. to the U..K.
Visited Dudley zoo this year there’s hardly any animals in there. The polar bears have gone. The elephants have gone. It’s such a pity.
Why was he shund away from everyone the royal family make me sick that poor lad had no one at all he was loverley boy i felt sorry for him how he was treated.if they hadlooked after him right hemight have lived longer bug his parents ashamed of him now if a royal child is born with a disability they are put away and for gotton.
They treated him like a dog disgusting just because he had a illness not his fault
During my Deer Stalking days I met quite a number of foreign Deer Stalkers, but the ones from Africa were far more intersesting to listen to. They of course had more Hunting experiences than most of we UK stalkers, they only came to the UK for a "Coverted Deer Trophy" one special one "The West Sussex Roe Deer Buck. In short, look for the beast with "Short ears, very long tail". I once found the part eaten body of a roe deer in the branches of a tree, the deer antlers were holding the body to the tree. Perhaps a prank by someone, but it was in an area where a "Beast " had been reported seen.
Would have made a better movie than hell in korea 1956
Now part of the Rifles
Lmao! Lmao! Lmaoooo! Thats what ya get you dang britbungz 😂🫵
IT'S DEC. 2ND 2024 AND I AM BREAKING AWAY FROM THE AUDIOBOOK "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" TO SAY WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT STARVING, ILL PEOPLE PRACTICALLY NAKED WALKING IN WEATHER LIKE WE HAVE HERE IN MONTREAL AT A BREEZY 2c. SNEAKERS, WOOL SOX, COTTON T-SHIRT, WEEL/POLYESTER SWEATER, AND A GOOD JACKET AND GOOD GLOVES, AND I'M FREEZING MY BRAINS OFF JUST INSTALLING CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. HOW COULD ANYONE SURVIVE DRESSED AS THEY WERE. HOW SICK CAN ANYONE BE SAYING THIS IS ALL LIES!!
I THINK A MOVIE SHOULD BE MADE OF KITTY'S LIFE AND IT WOULD BE FASCINATING!!
I HAVE ADMIRED KITTY EVER SINCE FIRST SEEING HER ON HER FIRST VISIT TO AUSCHWITZ AND O BELIEVE SHOULD KITTY START HER OWN TH-cam SITE, MILLIONS WOULD SUBSCRIBE INCLUDING MYSELF FOR ONE CHANCE TO COMMENT DIRECTLY TO HER. WHAT AMAZES ME ARE KITTY'S TOTAL RECALL OF EVERY LITTLE DETAIL OF THOSE DECADES PAST!!
IF I WERE AN ADMINISTRATOR OF ANY SCHOOL BOARD, FILMS LIKE THESE WOULD BE MADE AS PART OF COURSES IN HUMANITY STUDIES. AS KITTY SAID DECADES AGO IN A FEW MORE YEARS, NOT ONE ACTUAL SURVIVOR WOULD BE LEFT TO SHOW THESE INCREDIBLE HORRORS. WE AS A SOCIETY NOW CANNOT FATHOM WHAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN.
This advert is one of the best 90s adverts that Guinness ever made. This music is now back in with the new Guinness advert with the dancing can.
It is beyond any stretch of my comprehension and imagination how any of these poor souls survived such conditions while literally starving to death. How can anybody be made to walk miles with just flimsy clothes and NO shoes in minus double digit weather in snow?!!? It’s unimaginable!!! My heart bleeds for all of the victims. I just cannot… I’ve watched holocaust documentaries for years and I do so to keep feeling for all of these people. When I am comfy in my home with all the creature comforts I can ask for…family safe…food in abundance…I never lose sight of what atrocities these people experienced and what others continue to experience everyday. I am never not grateful. I feel so much. My heart💔 It is diabolical what the nazis inflicted on innocent humans. May they all be damnned eternally for their sins.
The best painting in all of art history. I was once lucky enough to see it in Milano. Entrancing and powerful! I could not turn my back to walk away after viewing for a long time. I had to go backwards so as to not take my eyes off of it, and out of utter respect for the Artist!
OoOh poor John 😢😢
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬OMG
Blimey, I rember seing the polar bears when I was a teenager so must have been mid 70's at a guess
Dudley zoo was never fit for purpose, and still isn't.
Wildlife crime. That Squirrel 🐿️ took my KP nuts up a oak tree
I've seen all her videos it's awful that she had to be there but her and her mother did some questionable things to survive
Survival instinct is a real thing
noones gonna be killed lol ! in all the stories they've ran away and jumped over a fence or something!!
Having been a prisoner in the UK and Jamaica I would think twice about having a go at Jamaican warders. their system is a little different. they have warders in grey uniform, same stripe system. But then they have overseers dressed in green, intimidating men, usually ex army. they walk around with a "swagger stick " but they are there to keep the warders in order as much as the prisoners. A far more violent system, they don't mess around with shields and batons. If the general alarm sounds the staff head straight to the armoury, they all have their own side arm, usually a .38 special or a .357 magnum and some carry shotguns also. I was unfortunate enough to experience a riot in General Penitentiary Kingston Jamaica. Saw many shot in front of me. Had shots wizzing past my head. Believe me even Charles Bronson and the whole uk system is like nursery school in comparison. People say prison is tough here. I say BULLSHIT. 14 people killed that day in the riot. 1 warder and 13 prisoners. That's about the ratio they aim for. As a white man i was seen as "soft" so during the riot it was the prisoners that kept me alive. I was bundled into a cell by some of the seniors prisoners on the wing whom i had been teaching to read and write. I owe them my life. They know who they are but without Linval Moodie I wouldn't be here to share this with you. RIP Linval.
you have no woods, where tf would they live. You brits are hilarious.
The pub.
On April 24, 1951, Liu Guangzi from the 2nd Compay of the 561st Regiment, 187th Division of the 63rd Army of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, who captured 63 soldiers from the Gloucestershire Regiment all by himeself. Throughout China's involvement of Korean war, the total deathtoll of the People's Volunteer Army was 197653, there is absolutely no way that almost one third of the of this number is contributed by this battle alone.
She is my absolute idol. Her attitude to life is enviable. I would love to meet her and give her a hug.
Where's all the doctors and engineers? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

We must never let our children forget what Israel did to the Palestinians.
I passed out from Newbold Revel in 2005. On day 1 we were required to march but there was no requirement after that. I remember being 20 years old and thinking Jesus what have I done! The last year number 1 uniform was issued was 03/04, luckily my friend had one and gifted it me on his departure from the service, I still have it today and they are rare now. It’s a shame HMPS didn’t remain a discipline service. To my mind it must go back to being one rather than the airy fairy service it is today. I’m sure most real officers would agree.
l wish my Mum would have seen this film,-she was a clippie on the number 11 during the war,-it was a dangerous job with them bombing every night, how different lt was then,-she said even with a bag of money, nobody would ever dream of trying to steal any,-with the bus blacked out during the raids,-but thats how people were in those days.
Wow amazing to see this 🥰
Big Cats = Big Shats

It's has ALWAYS been a class issue & never an animal welfare one. If asked the first words out of ANY Anti's get the snobs on the red coats 😉
