      Programming the Boss 200 Series pedals with MIDI is not for the faint-hearted. Each pedal has slightly different MIDI menus, which can make the process challenging. I’m currently editing a video series that provides a detailed walkthrough of programming the ES-8 switcher alongside several Boss 200 Series pedals. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out-I’m happy to help! I’ll also ensure that any questions are addressed in upcoming videos. One of the pedals presented an unexpected issue just days before a show, which required me to adjust my approach and resolve the problem quickly. In the video series, I thoroughly walk through the programming process and address these kinds of challenges. With so many combinations of pedals, there are always unique outliers, but this series aims to clarify and simplify the process as much as possible.

    Connections can be very buggy but it's mostly your iPad or phone that's the issue, if your unit locks up or starts acting strange , try a different phone, ipad , turn off VPN

      I have also noticed any time it is not on a secured router and the cheap 2.4ghz wireless units are in play. There can be some serious fighting because the frequencies are so close. Great advice though, I did notice some issued when using a VPN or private browser.

    You have a killer amp there my friend. I use a 1980 Ibanez Artist AR100 with a 1995 Peavey Classic 50 head through whatever 4×12 cab I fancy using at the studio that day. It's got an awesome tone, and the drive channel is the warmest, smoothest and most articulate I've heard.

    Can i use this for my studio recording sessions

    • @gearly_beloved
      @gearly_beloved 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can, all channels can be multi tracked to your daw of choice. Now as far as studio sessions and setup just be mindful of what outboard gear you might want to use. Decide if you want to use outboard preamps or eq’s, or will re-amp for specific textures and tones. Or will you put them in the chain before the mixer to capture it on the way in. Both are acceptable options. Re-amping can save cash on equipment, because you don’t need to have several of the same preamps. You can individually send to preamp after recording it “dry”. Plugins are also a great way to utilize the ui24 in the studio. Along with the built in effects there are unlimited plugins for different applications as well tone shaping nuances. I hope this helps let me know if you have any further questions. I’m always happy to help. Thanks for the comment.

This tells me that they’re still supporting the unit, however, do you think it is still a good purchase in 2024? I’ve seen a newer Allen and Heath option released just 1 year ago, but it doesn’t have real subgroups. So I’m thinking which might be the best option in 2024 and how much life the ui24r has ahead? I have a peavey Artist 240 with the metal knobs. Great amp. I grew up about an hour from Meridian MS where these were made. Why Peavey's get so little love is beyond me.

      Way cool my man I think I want to change the speakers out. I want just a little more punch on the low end. The speakers that are in it are just so worn in. But even back in the real early days it sounded great. Even though it was a crappy shotgun mic

    I just learned, in under 10 mins, that the art of tone is at least 80% attitude. "Ur" a true artist bro! The Bob Ross of pedals! You can mount my board anytime!!!😂😂😂

      Thanks and feel free to reach out anytime. Whatever tone questions you have for any gear I (Alaric) got you. I've done this so long I really was able to do this in my sleep. Question on your tone specifically, what genre do you typically play? This will help me narrow in on a possible rig and fx chain for your Headrush Prime.

    Hi Im trying to sort some IEM out, I’ve got the ui12, I’ve plugged the headphones in the slot on the front but it is really low even with the headphones knob at max, how would I do it in settings to turn it up thanks

      @@higstravels You should be able to go into the setting menu under the global section. You will change the “headphones out” to *aux instead of Master/Solo. That way when you go into your Aux sends you will have individual output controls with a little more gain. You can also try hitting the UI at the top right of the mixer display and hit the “aux masters” button and access the independent volume slider for headphone volume. At least that’s how it works on the ui24. Not all of the functions are the exact same. Let me know if you get stuck I can try and do a quick short on it. The mixer is pulling band duty for a bit so I don’t always have easy access when it’s packed up in a touring trailer. Happy to help when I can though.

    Hello sir I just brought ui12 and I want to use aux out as a in ear monitor and I also brought behringer pm1 but aux out signal goes to only left headphone not right side I checked everywhere to not doing pan left side and I didn’t but when I checked master output it’s hear left and right If you have any solution please let me know Thank you for advance

    • @gearly_beloved
      @gearly_beloved 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe the issue is with the pm1 there is a stereo mix version and a mono dual mix one. If you have the dual input one it takes two inputs that can then be mixed left and right. Some users for example prefer one ear has a click, and mix other the other ear. Hope this helps, if you have further questions please reach out.
