This is why Moose Torrent is more enjoyable to fight against and watch. Bowing is not a 'waste of time,' it is basic respect and etiquette for the deul, like how how most fights in the ufc always start with the fighters fist bumping, or anything of the sort, rather than tearing them to shreds like they just murdered their mother in front of them. There's no bad blood, no toxicity, just a test of skill and mental endurance with no reward save for the rush one has when brawling. Besides, in a game like this that has no official tournaments, why even try so hard to begin with? Is it for ganks? Well, invasions kinda suck in this game anyhow, and even then guys like Lost or Chase are good people to study off of for more casual, yet still skilled play that doesn't look or feel like you're trying to recreate melee fox. That, and full character and equipment swaps are generally unwarrented, save for maybe changing your talisman loadout given a specific situation, or just not bothering and leaving for a different invasion completely

We can only hope after the match he took a long walk outside and thought about where his attitude gets him in life, appreciated nature and life and the miracle of existence - instead of throwing the controller cussing out the tv and going straight into the next match having learned nothing. Btw excellent sword dance at the end, so often people just spam it and hope it gets chip damage you just threw hands straight into his weapon art.

I see this shit more often than not in the arena and it is the main reason im trying ds3 pvp. Its not unbeatable, but its damn annoying to go against in most of your battles.

Don't see what you mean. So what if he didn't want to gesture? He even waited for you to be done with yours before attacking. And say hypothetically that there is some reason to be upset that he wanted to start the match right away, isn't that the point of duels? The way I see it as soon as you noticed him advancing toward you, you should've cancelled out of the animation. You had the time to do it but you started panic rolling away instead. All in all it was an okay fight with nothing inherently wrong. Can't expect everyone to play the way you want to play. Coming from someone who likes to use gestures also.

It’s ok if people don’t want to roll play or be polite, it’s just a video game after all; yet, the only reason why I think someone would want to attack while someone is doing a gesture is just to gain a cheap advantage over the adversary. Waiting for 5 seconds is not too hard, so as soon as I see this behaviour and depending on my mood I prefer to stay still and just wait for the next match or kill them and point down.

Just like in DS3 QS(and by extension BHS) have no place in a game where rolls are free and already very good. People who "main" these ashes are scrubs or players who know how to play and are just abusing the fact that it cancels recovery, which is incredibly annoying.
