@@FRL_Memphisdo the wheels have paddle shifters for like decor or something? I can't seem to tell what those paddle shifter looking things are on the back of the wheel.

Yeah they are paddle shifters, before K1 bought out our old place we used them for our leagues. But being the corporate company they are we don’t use them anymore.

@@FRL_Memphisoh that's neat, sad though cause there is no use for them anymore. now i quite honestly just wish that K1 Speed in Vegas was like this place.

21.1 is pretty good! Fastest lap I set during practice was a 20.6 so not bad at all. I use a GoPro Hero 9 for all of my recording.

For this lap, I have the lap record and it is a 20.4 something if I can remember correctly.

@@FRL_Memphis Wow, my first time racing there my best lap was a 23.5 in 3 games, you have any tips on how to be faster? I'm planning on coming here for the Adult GP on May 5th, but I'll be going any of the Tuesday because of the buy one get one free.

23.5 is still very solid. I’ve been racing here since mid 2017 so I have quite a while of experience. It’s all about finding the best lines and fine tuning them. I’ll be at the next Teen GP so if you see me, feel free to say hi and I’d be happy to give you some pointers.

Yeah they do grid starts now. T1 depends on where you start, if your like me and are absolutely running for positions, I’ll brake as late as possible and try to divebomb cleanly. If not I’ll hold back and play it safe. Sometimes it’s better to just stay back and let everyone else battle first. Other times not. It really depends.

Yeah a lot of the karts are pretty different. Along with the fact I haven’t ran this track in quiet some time lol. 😂

Yeah I agree. It’s hard because it’s such a small track and I take a risk of losing another 2 laps to just pass them, along with having about 13 people in one session makes us hard. I’ll keep it in mind next time though, thanks!

With these electric karts, you can just smash full power as quickly as possible when you hit the apex, once your tires are warm you don’t have to worry about spinning them under acceleration.

Guessing you are talking about a League Race, group A is determined (usually) after Qualifying. Group A being the top fastest, and B being the ones after Group A in terms of laptimes.

@@FRL_Memphisoh because i was at a league race yesterday and i was wondering why I were going against slower drivers instead of faster drivers lapping 21’s or 22’s on le mans

You go to accelerate? Also if you don’t make the cut for A they will still drop you down to B.

Yeah that’s what I heard, nothing is changing with the corners itself it’s just going to be the timing line placement.

@@FRL_Memphis must be just putting on the opposite side, so we have to brake. I asked him about track layouts and he said some will be changing for safety and some to force braking. Also two level track isn't out of the realm of possibility

We didn’t have any timing sheets because of the transfer, on that track my PB was 2nd for best of the year. I usually get 21 sec laps in.

Yeah, they increased 4 by just a bit cause speed 5 was killing it too fast. 🤣

Yeah, first time trying it so obviously some thing to work out. I’ll be back on Tuesday for the leaguer celebration night and work on it then!

I actually have been using a old Hero 3 for the past few League years! I also did just yesterday get a Hero 9 Black for Christmas and got it all set up.
