NIce video. Did you get your drone back??
Fantastic footage. Just makes you realise what a great place we live in. Thanks for sharing
You had much better weather than me in 2022 ! You can go through the bit you turned back at 48 mins in ( you only needed to go a short way through the bushes and you were there, 50 mtrs perhaps.) Look up " Tannus armour" foam tire inserts for tubes , it will end your puncture problems and is worth the money. HTH
You're in Devon so it's cream first on your scone then jam , nothing else is acceptable . Thanks , you're welcome
Lovely video, brought back memories of good times, it is not recommended to swim at Loe Bar, can be extremely dangerous at times
Fish and Chips looked amazing
It was definitely tasty and good fuel to get me to okehampton
What a great adventure (punchventure), Craig, so many of my favourite parts of Cornwall!
Thank you Yulia, hope enjoyed the video and hope you're getting out on adventures too. Yes I love Cornwall. Nice to hear from you ☺️
show don't tell . thank you
Thank you Ian. Hope you are well and catch up soon bud
Thank you for sharing your journey, I hear there is a road short cut avoiding long long long slope with hill to Meeth which I sadly didn’t know about before doing that stretch. Interesting to see between Meeth and Tavistock which I’ll need to face for coast to coast.
Fantastic adventure 👍🙂
Thank you bud, glad you enjoyed it👍
@@WhyteRyder 👍
Just checked drone assist - where you were flying isn't restricted (unless they placed a temp restriction), it is on the border though PLUS you took off from private land and possibly National Trust land. If you weren't flying from private land, you could have put in a complaint if it is sub 250g.
Thank you for the information regarding restrictions, yes my drone is sub 250g. I an interview with the police at Warminster police station in a couple of weeks and they said that they will give me my drone back. I have to take my CAA exam again and upon completion to notify the police and that will hopefully fully resolve the matter. Much appreciated for researching the information and sharing. Best Wishes Craig :)
@@WhyteRyder dang you still don't have it 😫
Nice video, I did this ride a few years back but from Plymouth to Barnstaple, stayed at the same Youth Hostel in Okehampton too!
Thank you Rick glad you enjoyed the video
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Lovely stuff. It looked remarkably flat, the bit from Ilfracombe to Okehampton anyway?
Coming out of Ilfracombe there's a bit of a hill then it's pretty much flat all the way along the Estuary until you get to Okehampton it starts to get a bit hilly but nothing too shocking. Overall a great ride over two and a half days
No fly zone according to who? I certainly hope it's not bcause English Heritage say so and that the police are not enforcing rules made up by the corporation because thats what it sounded like he said. He could have just asked you not to use the drone , I'm glad you managed to remain in your creative state throughout that encounter and those photos were beautiful.
Hi Michelle, yes apparently the whole of the stonehenge area is a no fly zone, but I didn't know and saw a few drones in the air. Normally my drone would not allow to fly in a no fly zone but it took off and I made sure that I was far away from the crowd. I launched from the field opposite and was more interested in getting shots of the sun rising above the mist. I kept well away from the crowds. I guess the police have to follow procedures but it was a bit heavy handed in my opinion. No was harmed and I was simply capturing the beauty of the environment. Hopefully I will get my drone back soon. Thank you for your comments and hope enjoyed the video
@@WhyteRyder Yes I did google it after I commented and it seems so. I really enjoyed the rest of the video, I was looking out for my little squad in the background. I went with my daughters and their friend who was visiting from Canada , perfect timing as it was on her bucket list. I didn't spot us but enjoyed revisiting the moment, it was a truely wonderful summer solstice. I'm sorry to hear you still don't have your drone and I hope it doesn't take much longer.
@@WhyteRyder I am pretty sure it took off because of all the politics surrounding DJI, spying, and their usage. They used to be very good at restricting, but since the pressure from governments - seem less bothered? Do you use any drone apps? I always check to see if where I am flying is alright. If I checked the app and it states it is fine and the police hassled me I would need proof of no flight zone. Plus they should have plenty of signage up too.
Brilliant mate 😂 Although I hope you got your drone back 😮🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You and me both! I'm waiting for the police to get back to me, can take up to 6 weeks
😮 @@WhyteRyder
@@danielwhitehouse9955 hope you're ok bud, we're due a catch-up 😊
Nice video & it made me home sick as I'm currently working in the Middle East for a few years .. I grew up the otherside of the Tamar but live in Torquay - This is on my to-do list when I eventually get back home, plus a ride down to the Lizard on my gravel bike to see my family (avoiding as many roads as possible). Just subscribed.
Great job!.. I've just ordered my first ebike for potential exploration of the Jurassic coast that I love.. stopping over in my favourite places. These videos are a big inspiration!.. fantastic work, subbed 👍
Thank you for your kind comments. Good luck with the ebike exploring the Jurassic coast. The East Devon Trail is supposed to be a good one which I'm planning to do as soon as I get my drone back 😊
So...who was filming you
my DJI ACTION 4 was on a tripod filming me
Did this few weeks back loved it. Great video mate
Thank you 😊
Great wild camp and light there 👍
Yeah it's a beautiful spot, I may pop up there again this summer for another wild camp. Have you been to wild camp there yourself?
@@WhyteRyder No never tried wildcamping in UK. Only Norway. Would like a trip some day though

Del Norte does look stunning! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I would love to do the route again. I especially liked staying at the monastery :)
Fantastic film. Without the ego and solipsism of some of the American videos I have seen
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the film and thank you for your lovely comments 😊
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the film 😊
Absolutely wonderful! Thank you.
She needs more practice with the whip.
Excellent video, brought back many memories from 2017 🙏🏻
38:28 You left Pamplona after 10:00 am, and walked all the way to Estella and got there before 7:00 pm. That's about 44 kilometers I think. Did you take a taxi for part of it? 59:48 Good that you gave that prescription shite up. Stuff does more harm than good. Big pharma trying to make everyone a tweaker.
I stopped halfway in an Albergue before reaching Estella I think. I think it's the Albergue with the hammock I slept in the garden 😂
Wow, I hope u were able to ditch your medication. ❤
Yes I ditched the medication, it's been 6 years now, I have a healthy routine of exercise and try to eat well and work creatively as much as I can which helps. Thank you for your kind words my friend
Ha, thank you so much, I can relate, I just finished León to Santiago, I actually did it on a bike which was much harder than I thought, and the feeling that no one is around, I had to deviate and take alternative routes and there would be no one around, it is lonely and mind-bending, but what a great experience❤ my wife was walking the same route...
OMG the guy at the passport office LOL!!
great video love to meet you and have fun
great gig Teignmouth
Amazing..
Thanks for sharing the video, but I'm wondering, why the majority of the journey was compressed into like 10 minutes.
Thank you for your feedback. Towards the end of my journey on the Camino I was having technical problems and faults with my small handycam. It kept draining out of battery really quickly and soon afterwards it just wouldn't turn on anymore and so used my mobile phone which had limitations due to storage. I would loved to have kept to the same pattern of edit to how I captured the first part of my journey, it would have been a much longer film though. I felt also I got swept up with Camino experience towards the end of my journey. The montage sequences at the end seemed to flow and sum up the rest of the journey, although maybe a bit abruptly and rushed. It was mainly because of my main camera breaking that I had to some how complete the film. Thank you for your comment and for pointing this out🙂
Lovely video. Really inspiring 😊
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your journey. Captivating!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Such a beautiful place for camping under the stars 💫
Wonderful vlog and journey on your Camino Craig. It will be our turn in 6 weeks time. Loved your adventure and hanging out with you. It is always sad when one comes to the end. Thank you for sharing. ❤🤗🙏🏽
Thank you for your lovely feedback. Wishing you great adventures on your upcoming Camino. You are going to love it ❤️😎🌻
So great to see some of your Camino journey Craig! Beautifully shot too and it took me back... trying to figure out your consistently dodgy pronunciation of places was also a fun game 😅. I'm going to be filming in Devon in August and it would be great to see you if you're around. 😊 0:22
Hey Emma , Great to hear from you. Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the film and that it helped to bring back memories of your Camino. Admittedly I did struggle with the many tongue twisting places to pronounce along the way🤣. Yes it would be great to catch up when you get back to Devon. I'm based in Plymouth now and regularly pop up to Totnes, Dartington so would be great to catch up for a cafe con leche. Let me know when you're back in Devon and we can something. Looking forward to seeing you and having a catchup😊
Thanks for sharing and letting me in on your journey young man. Great videography and some beautiful personal moments. I was particularly moved by what you left at Cruz de Ferro. Buen Camino!
Thank you Wayne. That's really kind of you and glad that you enjoyed the film. The Cruz de Ferro was a very personal and emotional moment for me and certainly a big turning point in my life. Wishing you a 'Buen Camino'😊
