I’m so happy to have watched and listened to you in this video. I felt like you were talking to me in real time. Everything you shared I totally agree with and support. You’re like an echo chamber of my own feelings and expressions. As you know, my salon concerts are just one of the very few ways I try to tell the world who I really am. My gifts are who I am. Not just in music, but everything else that I like to do and knowledge I like to share. One lesson I learned from you today: every time you said “society,” I realize it’s not some generic nebulous description of our communities or affiliations, which are easy to blame because that word is perceived to only describe bigger groups, and attributing norms and failures is easier to do because no eye-to-eye or face-to-face interaction is needed or expected. However, society should also more specifically describe smaller cultures: church, family, cultural groups, educational institutions, and even (and especially) friends and mentors. Most of our personal casualties are caused by those closer to us, and then reinforced by the larger society. Thank you for letting watch and listen to your thoughts. I love you with all my heart. I m so blessed to have been your friend and spouse for more than 33 years. I look forward to being your soul mate forever. Thanks for loving me so much the way that you do.

Also, physical media is always best! Not that long ago there was this huge kerfuffle with a streaming service where a company had a deal for only so long, and some people had bought seasons of certain shows but once the brand deal was over all those people had lost what they had purchased which is crazy!! I always buy what makes me happy too because it’s better quality and you don’t have to worry about lagging.. 😊

Do you talk to family on the regular? Like siblings? Or friends? I don’t really know your family dynamic… but I would love to talk with you 💛

This was back when I had an ice cream themed website. I closed it down about a year ago after playing in that particular playground since 2007. It was fun while it lasted. On to other playgrounds now 🌺
