I started on the uk equivalent of a wall Mart board, it actually made it really easy to skate once I got a decent one. If you can ollie, 50-50 then learn kickflips on a wall mart board you'll find skating a good board like heaven.

i would say yes for beginners cause of the fact that better boards can cost from 80 to 200 usd and what if you lose intrest then you have just wasted 200 usd and besides people reviewing walmart boards like braiile are pro doing kickflips begginers are ussaly just lerning to cruise and get comfy somtimes an ollie or shuv it but fter a while begginers will either break the walmart board and get new better one or get some skateboard iq and get a new one to be honest its a win win walmart got money real skateshops get money and at the end of the day you have a new hobbie/passion.

Ended up finding these for $20 at Marshall’s. The only pair they had was my size (12US). I had just started skating again and was like duck it… they’re $20. I’m telling you I had super low expectations but these things are buttery af. They’re not perfect, but few shoes are. Great way of describing them as a cupsole/vulc hybrid. That’s exactly what bothered me about them at first. I couldn’t understand what exactly was going on with it. GREAT review, my man!
