And it's funny when Kate Jackson was introduced to Dark shadows she was so scared of Jonathan Frid AKA Barnabas Collins, that she hid behind the curtains.

I was one of those kids that ran home every day to watch Dark Shadows and I am now 71 years old. And by the way I still love the show and I still watch it.

I was 2 years old when Dark Shadows started 🤣 my oldest sister was 8 and my other sister was 6 but my mom would watch it so I got to see it then. Maybe that’s why I have always loved vampire books. 🙂🤣 It did scare me sometimes though. Now I have found Dark Shadows on Roku channel and am watching them again.

I was so moved by these remembrances. Of course I didn't know Lara, but she's been a part of my life for since the 1960s and I feel as if I lost a friend. Very touched to hear these beautiful remembrances by Katie scott and roger davis and david selby and the rest. thank you all for sharing this.

I reached out by email and received a warm and personal reply in which I could see clearly, in my mind, the kind smile. I literally fell apart because I never expected a reply. His portrayal of Willie Loomis was so different from Karlen's and I dare say far creepier and potentially more violent. I would have been OK with him continuing in the role, although I am equally OK with how Karlen played it. Fun fact: James Hall plays a bartender in The China Syndrome.

It's nice to see they bring back the first Willie! DS seems to respect the actors enough to be more inclusive unlike The Waltons reunions, which have been a joke and a showcase of dissing many of its actors!
