@@406adventures Awesome, I just got a No.1 in 7mag, the fella who had it previous was apparently a reloading savant and had great load data for it. Naturally the kids sold all his load data/components seperately right when he passed, around a year before I got the rifle. Steele p&g called for me to see if they remembered the name or contact info of who they sold the data to, they didn't remember apparently. It would've been nice for the legacy of all his hours spent into load development to live on. Bummer, but it gives me experimenting to do in between college classes. (Revelation 20:11-15)And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Christianity and Freemasonry do, in fact, intertwine with each other, because he was considered a carpenter. Let's just consider the fact that, in the New Testament, Christ laid rock as the foundation of the temple, and, plus, this rock that was laid as the foundation of the temple is allegorically synonymous with the Philosopher's Stone that can be used for conscious purification. Allegorically speaking, Jesus was consciously the embodiment of what masonry is, if we are going to take the truth about masonry for what it is. MASON=A skilled worker (ex. a carpenter) who builds by laying units of substantial material (such as stone or brick)

not a false prophet to know your stuff, jesus was a builder but of what? of the future of the evolution of man. it makes perfect sense that the building concept surrounding jesus goes further than career choice. Also, Jesus had a ton of power and ability. So why when he can walk on water is he subjecting himself to torture? to build the future. so who is a true carpenter. someone building a house or someone building gods kingdom, the future intended for us? the true carpenter is the one who syndicates with the true meaning of the word regarding the intelligent origin ‘s perception of what a true carpenter is. A builder of ITS intentions so to speak.

I’m a pretty experienced reloader, and still picked up some good info and tips here. Thank you to your Dad for putting this together. I’ve made the mistake about not labeling what was in my powder measure, and learned my lesson. Nice tip on setting up the balance beam scale. I also have that excellent older RCBS 88507 APS hand primer and all the strips and strip loader, and of course RCBS discontinued it! They went with the tray one I don’t care for, so I’ve been trying to find a replacement as that’s a great model. I full length resize every time, even brass in the same rifle, but just enough to set the shoulder back .002” in a bolt and .003” in an autoloader. I understand neck sizing, but every few reloadings you’re going to have to FL size anyway, so I do it every time for consistency. Your reloading bench is perfectly organized! Love those die and bushing racks. Ironically, I was reloading pistol ammo on a Dillon progressive for 20 years, but I think I never really _learned_ reloading until I started reloading for a rifle on a single stage press. The best tip I learned from your video, and frankly can’t believe I didn’t do this before, is to have the bullet reloading manual side by side with the powder manual, as of course the powder manual will list all bullet manufacturers, so it’s a good comparison. I appreciate you taking the time to out together this comprehensive video. 👍

Once all the snow clears you can drive up to the top in a 4wd vehicle and then it’s only a few hundred yards of a walk over to the edge. They are all along the cliff edge! The top is called dry head vista.

@@406adventures inmyself would mind if it was a hike but glad to know for wife and kiddos sake 😂 thank you for reply man. My Dad always told us stories of the knee-eaters from the pryor ice caves growing up. I was born in Billings and family in Hamilton/Corvallis. I have lived in Az since 84 though..just hike hieroglyphic canyon in superstitions last Saturday on a rainy day (best time to do it). Have you ever heard the little people referred to as knee-eaters btw?

I’ve reloaded pistol and thought so long about rifle for hunting purposes. I’ve watched so many videos and I’m so impressed by your efforts at explaining different aspects. I have one ’deer rifle’ so save the once fitted brass. Finally someone who explains the difference between once fitted and range brass and resizing! My first question is regarding the flash hole. Some have said it’s important to deburr the inner flash hole edges with a tool but you didn’t. Do you not find that necessary? Second. The neck resisting die you use didn’t make any reference to how much smaller the ball should be in relation to the projectile. I’ve seen it said that possibly 2 thou? Is that being too anal? I was hanging on till the end to see your opinions on crimping but your video reshowed earlier clips. What happened there and did you make another video on crimping? Overall I was delighted with your efforts but crimping has always been a vague spot in reloading rifle ammunition and yours skipped that aspect. Many thanks for the rest it was genuinely informative and easy to understand. Some other videos have my head swimming with high brown technical stuff. Kind regards Ed

My dad made this video, and he had every intention on making more, but he passed away and did not get a chance to do them. I found his discs of this video, and it was always his intention to get them on to help people learn how to reload, so I put them together and made this video for him to honor his memory.

Very Nice video describing everything! With your ability to fill MT from the bottom would you try adding grains first and then the water?

Thank you, I wish there was a video like this when I first started 10 years ago so I’m glad it can help. I suppose you could add the grain first, but I like to add them to the tun because I think it helps from getting dough balls by stirring as you add the grains.

I got a funny story about when my dad got a reloading bench and decided to wing it through loading. Also him and my mom babysat this awful kid who's mom lived in the area and they convinced themselves that it was my kid so they could have grandkids. It's not my kid. This kid would sneak into his workshop and play with tools including the reloader handles and one day the scales were left out to be seen by him and he played with those too. I hunt with a rem. 300 ultra mag and bought the set of dies to reload ammo, and a couple bags of brass, powder, primers, bullets and a couple boxes of factory ammo with the intent of getting my neighbor Jerry to show me the steps to reloading in the future. I get a better scope a couple years later and decide to re-zero it and stop by my dads house where I keep my guns and ammo in the big safe. I grab the last 2 boxes on a shelf of the ultra mag's ammo and call Jerry to meet me at range. I load the gun after bore sighting and place the gun in a large sandbag with a secondary smaller sandbag under shoulder stock so its nice and stable. This thing accelerates 180 grain slugs to 3300 fps or beyond so the recoil is massive. I load the first round and fire and the recoil was brutal. More than I ever remember it being but I think I'm just getting soft. I load second round and fire and the recoil was just damned brutal but Jerry is watching me from the side and stops me and wants to see a spent brass. I handed him one and he said stop and take out the remaining bullets. He calls my dad and asked him if he had reloaded some of my bullets and he said yeah, both boxes had been reloaded. Jerry told me there was a huge ball of fire coming out of my barrel and the spent rounds had pushed out their primers. We get to the house and go to the reloader and dad is showing Jerry how he reloaded everything and the weights of powder per round when I noticed the little cup that you weigh the powder in was missing that little brass handle you hold it by. That was what his analog scales weighed up along with powder and although that tab was small in brass weight, it was a lot more in powder weight. He pulled the slug out of the bullets he had loaded already and the slugs were setting on the powder in the brass....I was about to blow my gun up. Moral of the story.. now I'm about to start reloading for myself and I am watching everything I can on how to do it right!
