If you used 2x 22 or 45 degree fittings on the horizontal to get your right height, then 90 out and then trap it would be code. Because you 90 up then 90 over you made that a S trap.

Thanks for posting. I used to have the same problem mispronouncing "homogeneous" (or "non-..."). Consequently I also misspelled it occasionally, as you have at the top of your whiteboard. Think "genius" when you pronounce it, and you can probably correct this tendency over time. Just trying to help.

I don't see how this can be correct... At the very beginning, you say that k = n-1 and k = n+2. If you were to redistribute this, you get n-1 = n+2 => -1 = 2. Instead, shouldn't you just expand the second expression starting at n = 0 to get c0x^2, and then combine the two summations?
from my textbook: "Remember the summation index is a “dummy” variable; the fact that k = n-2 in one case and k = n + 1 in the other should cause no confusion if you keep in mind that it is the value of the summation index that is important. In both cases k takes on the same successive values k = 1, 2, 3, . . . when n takes on the values n = 2, 3, 4, . . . for k = n - 1 and n = 0, 1, 2, . . . for k = n + 1."
