how are you captain ? I have confusion in fourth line of these regulation to the end. please can you explain these in simple way? SOLAS Chapter III/6 Telecommunications 2.2 Radar transponders At least one radar transponder shall be carried on each side of every passenger ship and of every cargo ship of 500 tons gross tonnage and upwards. At least one radar transponder shall be carried on every cargo ship of 300 tons gross tonnage and upwards but less than 500 tons gross tonnage. Such radar transponders shall conform to performance standards not inferior to those adopted by the Organization.[5] The radar transponders[6] shall be stowed in such locations that they can be rapidly placed in any survival craft other than the liferaft or liferafts required by Regulation 26.1.4. Alternatively one radar transponder shall be stowed in each survival craft other than those required by Regulation 26.1.4."

Can u please clarify about more than one vessel towed alongside. The rule says they shall be considered as one vessel which means if two vessels are being towed alongside, they shall be considered as one vessel which implies that only one side light on each vessel shall be exhibited which is straightforward. But what about the stern light? On which one of the 2 vessels shall be stern light be exhibited? as they are to be considered as 1 vessel

Sir, the part c is for 6 vessels so those vsls should sound 1 prolonged followed by 2 short even when they making way and also when they are stopped & not making way.. is that right?

sir how are you i am a fresh grade second officer i have a question for inspection of immersion suit I read in MSC/Circ.1114 :at intervals not exceeding three years, or more frequently for suits over ten years of age. and some officers Sayed that suit more than 10 years old inspected annually ? the question where is annually in MSC/Circ.1114??
