Missed the combo on how to swipe the credit card

For the goldenhair combo, if you are on 2 hugin 2 geri you can summon geri with the 2nd runick spell and then use the golden ef in grave to synchro that and the geri off for jord, saves you the risky draws and one of your runick ED slots. Only downside is you don't get the coral draw as early, which isnt that bad.

You could technically make it here using beast, barkion and blessing. Probably not worth it though with kaijus running around. If it does get kaijud you do have 2 ways to revive it though so,maybe Could cut chengying or lambda if you wahted to run it

They definitely make the 1st turn stronger, the issue with them is going 2nd though. I think that if you get to go 1st and combo with this deck you should already be in a good position because of how broken the runicks are. Going 2nd is more of a concern. Also, there isn't very much room due to runick requiring so much space in the main, so the swaps dont really have any space in a runick build. I think swap double cross is much more suited for pure/handtrap spright.

Unfortunately, tip is the best card in the deck, so 3 is for sure optimal. You can definitely run the deck still with less though. Iblee is very good, I side it for going first. I didnt want to main more than 1 hard going 1st card, because I can just pitch it off hugin if I open it going 2nd. For thaf slot I opted for messenger of peace because it can actually be useful into established boards sometimes, unlike iblee. She is a very good card though for sure. Especially against Kash and Branded

Soul scissors! Its the last monster in the main and I start talking about it at around 6:41 Essentially, its your new repeatable monster removal. Sprind has a strong bounce effect as well so I often leave it on the end board

I would definitely consider it! I was initially turned off when thinking about it before the event, because this deck struggles to clear boards it seemed like I'd just be using it to set their board and then give them a ton of advantage. After seeing it in Pak's profile I started thinking about it more and theoretically it could help you to survive. And if youre in a good enough position you only really need to worry about surviving, the advantage doesnt even matter because fountain is so busted. I'll be testing it for sure. Any level 2 plus even 1 runick spell is already a decent combo so Id be curious to see what sort of hands your getting exactly. How would you end on double dragon lords as well with the first one?

@@Dabs_cards haha no worries. I know Ive done 3 am combos that Ive looked back on and realized were illegal lol. Im glad to hear that! Pote actually gives this deck a bunch of new tools so I might have to revisit it soon

You made a great choice for a deck as far as cost effectiveness! Although it is a very challenging deck to play, it's very rewarding as well

Like you said, they activate in the grave. Into the vrains only negates the monsters effects on the field. It's like tri-brigade revolt. You can't activate any on summon effects of the monsters you link away, but you can use the grave effects. If into the vrains said "negate the effects of monsters with that name" then it would negate the grave effect. But since it just says "negate it's effects" the negation only applies on the field, just like imperm or revolt.

Triple kitt is pretty important for this type of build, especially if you want to run oath. You could up the bird ratios instead but that would also require cutting some other things from the main. As far as making room for oath, I'd only side it (for when you know you're going first). And what you run in the side is very dependent on your locals meta/the specific event youre going to, but you could easily just cut one of the other going 1st cards (1 copy of shared ride for example). It's really just a buzz word to get people to click, these boards aren't literally unbreakable. No floodgates (ie scythe) like so much of the format. You put out multiple interruptions but that leads to interaction! And it's not solitaire nor is it using all of your resources turn 1. Probably the most important part about playing a combo deck is sequencing your first turn correctly to play around hand traps, this is very much not solitaire. And especially in a midrange deck like this, having followup is critical for winning, using all your resources turn 1 often leads to a loss. I apologize if the "unbreakable" term was misleading, but your comments simply do not apply to this type of deck. Thank you for the feedback though, I appreciate the discussion!

As an addendum: this deck usually actually wins on turn 3, because the opponent will actually usually break the board but then you have an insane amount of really strong followup to break whatever board they made through yours!

Yes, you can! Just like ancient warriors double dragon lord, all that matters is that you banish 2 monsters. You're not actually performing a link summon, you're special summoning a link monster via the tribrigades effect. This also means you can't special them back out once they leave the field using something like revolt or monster reborn.

@@dompalladino98 If you're talking about around the 16:00 mark, it's because I already had the sapphire and nerval. I wouldn't be able to use beryl canary that turn because I'd be using bearbrum and crow isn't always that impactful in every matchup. So I kept the 2 bodies on board to make a stronger board

@@wewladdtv696 Haha, exactly. And honestly not a bad deck. I know other version of this deck run DPE, but I cant commit to buying that until I know if it is or isnt hit next month. Haha. I did have one question though! I BELIEVE you side Called By. I live in constant fear of hand traps in this deck since it almost stops it in its tracks. To someone wanting to main called by, would you recommend adding it and running 41, or removing something, like an imperm or something else to make room?

@@cjaaaaayy Honestly wagtail would probably be the 1st thing I cut. Although its sometimes nice to combo with, it contributes to the worst brick hands. You could of course also just run 41, theres practically no difference in odds for 41 vs 40. If you do cut wagtail, let me know how it works out for you, its something Ive been debating doing for quite some time (and let me know if the called by is good too). Thanks in advance!

@@wewladdtv696 You got it! Ill try both! Ill start with adding, because I like having as many bird options to combo with, especially since Ferrijit allows you to draw if you have cards in hand, I think having 41 here might be beneficial. One thing I am learning with this deck too, is the importance of card placement, and I think that could warrant a video in itself! Like ferrijit and Bearbrumm only point left in the main zone, so you almost have to keep your zone 2 open since they almost always end up in zone 3, JUST in case you want more link plays. And rugal points right, so I try to be super strategic with zones 2 and 4 during my turn one. Also, putting things like Ensemblue in defense to avoid my whole field getting lightning stormed. 😂 I think one place I struggle HEAVILY with both of my decks (Prank kids and Tri-lusc) is side decking. I understand WHY certain cards are in the side deck, but what comes out for the gamma package? Or for Droll? Or Lancea? I think personally those types of videos and knowledge would go a long way for newer players and newer players to the deck too, since I am not extremely familiar with what hurts what deck and what can be lived without! Not saying you have to make it, but definitely something I think about! Haha

I'd cut some of the techs and maybe wagtail. Its a decent engine here and definitely worth considering! The real problem I think is making space in the extra though, not sure what I'd cut there. Probably ferrijit and then maybe doom eagle

Playing this will definitely get you better results than tenyi swordsoul with missing pieces, I highly recommend it! If you want you could experiment with cutting a bit of the tribe stuff/handtraps for some higher bird ratios. 3 cobalt sparrow is definitely something worth trying

@@wewladdtv696 Absolutely, I would cut the hand-traps. Tribri-Lyri is a deck that can play around handtraps pretty well, because it can do tons of things in a turn. All those hand-traps are dangerous and probably more bricky than safe.
