Turbo k24 8thgen vs 500+hp b series hatch & Supra dp/e50
Took the car out to run some buddies in Mexico. Great runs between both cars from 40-140 and 60-140. Enjoy!

Re-upload for better video quality Found a group of V8's cruising while running some errands and got the procharged GTO to play. He definitely was surprised but was cool about it.

Re-uploaded the video since I was able to obtain an outside view of the pass. My fastest pass ever and this puts me on the top 10 fastest 8thgens list! Went out to mexico to have some fun with v8's and a gsxr 600. Don't know much about mods done on the v8s but foxbody runs 11s and was on radials. Trans Am was on full drag setup and on the bottle. All in high 50° weather.

Ran a buddy's tune only MKV supra. It was about 80 degrees on this day so the civic was running about 10 psi (400hp) compared to the normal 13/14psi (460hp). Nonetheless these tuned only supras are fast!

Si mods: Stock k24 Prl turbo kit w/ gtx3071r gen 2 on 13/14psi Rsx mods: Stock k20 Cx racing turbo kit w/ gt35r on 13/14psi rsx had issues revving past 7500rpm so if he had been able to rev it out like he used to the race would've been a closer.

Had the PPG helical 1-4 gearset put in and here's a compilation of me testing them out. First 2 clips are me getting used to the gearing and last 2 are me flat foot shifting. Enjoy!

What it changed from the 11.6 to 10.7.. pass... did you where boost by gear on the 11.6 passes and then switch to full boost on al gears?? -im current on kraftwerks and my best so far is 11.7 @118 but i only have 400 whp

@@allmotorcoupe2653 depending on how high you rev it. 8600 rpm and 5th gear had plenty of room on my stock z3 to finish the 1/4 mile

For the most part, yes. Only modifications was trimming firewall tunnel to clear downpipe and trimming drivers frame rail to clear intercooler pipings.

Haven't driven it much lately. First couple years of being turbo I drove out everyday.
I know you don’t want to break axles but you could get low 11s maybe high 10s with better launch and 1-2 shift

This is late but I've realized something that doesnt help these cars.. remember that the speedo is literally like a half second to full second behind on actual speed. so as you watch the numbers go up its lagging behind so say it says 90 mph its probably actually going 98 mph. i tested with gps speed on my phone and it does make it look slower in my own civic si lol
